Firstly, below is alink to my character. <:section><:section> http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/psychorob-6407/hero/25424018 I am playing a Wizard, using Electrocute and Disintegrate on my mouse, and Familiar, Magic Weapon, Hydra and Energy Armour (5% crit chance) on my number keys. Apart from electrocute, all other skills are doing archon damage. My passives are glass cannon, temporal flux and astral presence. My life is about 60k, my toughness 540k and my damage about 290k (buffed). My armour prevents 60% damage and my all resists prevent 75% damage. I have 860 LoH from gear (storm crow and blackthorn's pants), plus about 360 from paragon points. I have about 300 life per second from gear. <:section> I've been doing Uber runs on T3 with a DH and Barb, and have been doing ok with the SK / Maghda fight and the Ghom / Rakanoth fights. I can target Kulle ok in the SB / Kull fight, but when attacking SB with either Electrocute or Disintegrate (and if my Hydra attacks him) my life goes down constantly. I have to attack him until I'm on about 10% health (I lose about 15% health a second when attacking), then run around until my health potion is available, heal and then repeat. I can do about 10% of his life as damage to him each session, but am frustrated as I know we're getting close to his enrage timer by the time he dies. Can anyone provide advice on what I should be adding gear wise, or any other advice as to how i'll better survive SB's reflect damage (or any elite's reflect daage for that matter). Should I drop Glass Cannon and add the passive that reduces melee damage, or will this not affect reflect damage?
Your toughness is way too low for your damage. You're obviously killing yourself. You need more toughness. It honestly really is that simple.
Blur is now all damage, so you could try dropping Glass Cannon for Blur, that would certainly increase your toughness and drop your dps. Maybe your LoH would be enough to cope with the reflect then.
I have 49 points allocated to Vitality in primary stats, a mixture of IAS, CC an CD in the Offensive stats (49 points total), a combination of Armour and All Resist in defensive stats (getting me to 60% damage reduction from Armour and 75% reduction from resistances), and in the 4th paragon tab about half and half in area damage and life on hit.
I'll try swapping Blur in for Glass Cannon (even if ony for Siege Braker), and will also try Magic Weapon Deflection.
Are there any suggestions for which gear I should look for upgrades for first?
I tried changing skills and paragon points last night, but still struggle... I note my touighness was 820k (not the 540k listed in my first post). I swapped glass cannon for Blur and changed Force Weapon rune to Deflection. In my 4th paragon points tab I noted I had points in resource cost reduction (to the value of 10%) and the remainder in life on hit. I moved these all to Life on hit (geting me to 1650 LoH), and noted my life regen was at 350 per second. These changes got my toughness to over 1100k, and my damage reduced to 255k buffed. I started a T4 game and luckily the first elite pack I found had reflect damage. I struggled - whenever I was attacking I was quickly draining life, even with the deflection shield. More help required...
The amount you heal is lower than the amount you damage yourself. Consider using another weapon. I use a rare sword with 3% life steal on it and have around 1000 resist all, and have never had a problem with reflect.
I have been avoiding using a lifesteal weapon, as I know in 2 weeks it won't be useful - hence my attempts to make this work with just life on hit. Is 1000 All Resist necessary or even possible? I have 624 from items and 10% of my Int, plus more from paragon points. I'd need it on nearly every item
Possible? With Prismatic Armor I'm at 1300 resistances for my lowest resistance (1550 for my highest); makes life so much easier. Many of my items still don't have allres, like bracers, gloves, jewelry, and so on. For T3 ubers I personally think 624 is a bit low, but it depends on your playstyle; I personally prefer to have some room for error and get more mitigation. You can also opt for some armor if you feel like you're hitting a brick wall with allres.
On level 70 your main stats will get a significant boost because int rolls higher, and you'll get higher diamonds - so it's very easy to get past 1500 all resist in RoS.

If you ONLY worry is Seige Breaker, then why don't you just get a cheap with Life on hit and life steal? Then just gear swap for that particular fight? I used to do that when I was doing Ubers on the PTR.
1000+ resist all is indeed very possible! Even more so if you use Prismatic Armor. I linked my Wizard profile, and as you can see the items aren't amazing I think I have 5-6 items with resist all on it and 1000ish resist all with storm armor (no glass cannon tho).

And may the odds be ever in your favour.

If you cant replace gear right away with more healing overall, dont forget to put your paragon points, if avaiable, into life reg and life on hit.

Step two ... get more resist all.
