Fairly simple.
Get into position and snare targets with ES for extra damade from cull of the weak, start emptying hatred via multishot, when out, use prep, then empty again while restoring all discipline back. Rince and repeat.
Impale for single target bombing.
Just remember to renew ES on targets for the damage buff and surviveabillity.
You got shadow power for life leeching when needed. I think people under estimate this skill due to how usefull smokescreen is. But it just heals for SO MUCH.

You're welcome.
Shadow power reduces damage taken by 65%. The alternative is caltrops with roots.
Still, amazingly fun and inferno viable. Damage and surviveabillity both.
Healing doesn't matter when you get one shot by everything even when stacking vitality. So Shadow Power seems fairly wasted.

I understand why ppl are saying you get 1 shot as a Dh, because with the SS build no ones cared about resists or vita or armor. I can tell you right now I can handle 2-3 hits from the butcher in inferno, and I've only got 27k hp. Vita helps a lot after you break around 18 k or so =) So yea, life leech helps

To be fair the mobs in A2 Inferno do like 3x the damage of the butcher =/.

I tend to agree. I've been stacking up on all res on my Dh, and it's worked wonders for my farming. I've had to go down in damage a bit, but really it isn't too bad. I'd say I'm probably dealing more damage in the long run because I almost never waste time repairing or being dead.
Are you farming act 1 or 2/3/4? Because as people keep saying - there's a world of a difference. If hell is a 1 out of 10, act 1 is 3/10, and act 2 is 8/10. You can use whatever spec and gear you feel like in Act 1 and do "well".
Im curious to see if it is worth it . Right now I do have my glass cannon gear but I would definatly take a damage decrease to get resistance if I can take 2 - 3 hits. But I still dont have the best gear now and auction house is so fucked up... I cant make any gold to even buy a whole new set of gear
Can anyone makr a video of a DH farming oasis and being able to take hits?
Caltrops are a joke on inferno, and build is inferno viable? Please act 1? Lol. Act 1 is a joke, it's meant for you to sit in and farm for days before being viable for act 2. Currently in Act 3 and I don't even bother dropping any sort of snare because of the reduction.
Also Shadow Power + Smoke Screen (What you're gonna lifeleech your way to victory when mobs hit you for twice your health? Oh wait, life leech is reduced in higher difficulties as well, woops), multishot is pointless because Elemental arrow does the job 2x better with Nether Tentacles and costs less Hatred.
Then again, any DH higher than Act 2 already knows this.
Also, willing to say that Act 4 Hell is actually more difficult than Act 1 Inferno. Lmao, true story.
I disagree, just because inferno even in act 1 has some rough champion packs if you get unlucky with the affixes, but it's definitely fair to see it's not where Inferno truly begins; it's more like Act 5 Hell.

I had a lot more trouble with Act 4 mob types in Hell when I saw soloing than Act 1, all the mobs just move so slow... The only thing that ever gave me trouble were the little frog dudes that move super fast, other than that everything is easily "run and shoot-able".
Also another reason why once you get to Act 3 it's not so difficult unless you don't have the DPS, everything moves slow other than the random Lacuni in the caves, soul lashers and phase beasts.
EDIT: Then again, soullashers are just so damn gay.
Its an amazing burst & healing build for it you might get hit by a dot & survive, you can change the Preperation rune from Backup Plan to Battlescars if you see fit, but I'd say Backup Plan is quite nice since it procs quite often.
I used the same build, except I use Puncturing Arrow instead of Devouring (since it seems to do more damage) through Act 2 and into Act 3 and it works great. I just wish the lifesteal on Nether Tentacles would be actually useful in Inferno. I stacked a bunch of life on hit to deal with reflect damage packs, but it's still not enough.
