Linkx i love olaf and ashe. i build ashe weird tho. keen 2 get my comp fixed so i can play again. 2 low on bandwidth this month 2 download the game for this comp atm. sigh ><
I don't have a "build" honestly. If I need mana I go after this piece, if I need increased attack speed I go after that piece, if I need stronger ability power or stronger damage power I go after these pieces.
And yes, Nasus' voice is epic. It's def the top on my list.
Vlad was released ages ago. I played him when he was free and he was great, but I never really wanted to buy him. Only recently did I buy him and he becomes FotM.
Stupid Tier List and HotShotGG...

It's all been said. The pun, the not so funny joke, the phrase, something about oneself, the not so random picture.
Jackal is part of the same family, but it's not the same.
It's not totally, but it's kind of like saying a wolf and a dog are the same...
Vladimir is an amazing mage carry into late game. He gains great damage and survivability as well as being amazing in team fights with 3 AoE focused abilities. Since late game is all about team fights, he's pretty much up there with Veigar as a late game mage carry. (Veigar and Vlad are my Mage Mains atm, and if you count it, Singed.)

How is Kat supposed to farm when Vlad hits her each time she tries to throw a knife? Alternatively he can stand between the minions and Kat.
By knifing a minion making said knife bounce to Vlad? And why would Vlad stand between minions and Kat? That's just spelling suicide there since you're on the other side of the line of skirmish.
Kat can harass with her knives that seem to be able to bounce across the map, it's just that Vladimir can regain that HP in two cooldowns.
Two cooldowns to counter one knife cooldown? That's bad, simple math, Kat's knife cooldown is 9 secs at lvl 1 while Vlad's siphon cooldown is 12 secs at level 1. Basic algebra can tell you that Vladimir can't keep up with constant knife harass.
Knife (at 9 secs) Vlad counters with Transfusion (at 12 secs, needs 1 more to go)
Knife (at 18 secs) Vlad counters with Transfusion (at 24 secs, needs 2 more to go)
Knife (at 27 secs) Vlad counters with Transfusion (at 36, needs 3 more to go)
Knife (at 36 secs)
Knife (at 45 secs) Vlad counters with Transfusion (at 48 secs, needs 7 to go)
And around 5 knives, both heroes should be at lvl 2-3, decreasing the cooldown rate, Katarina is already head by one rotation of knives and Vladimir still needs 7 more CDs of Transfusion to counter the damage accumulating from knives.

In the first case he would land a Q each time Katarina steps in, causing more damage than the bounce and forcing her to back away. Add a tides of blood to that and he will do more damage to minions as well, although that is the opposite of what you normally want against Katarina.
By standing between Katarina and the Minions you force her to attack you or be satisfied with getting no exp. Make sure to not do anything except lasthitting and you will easily keep her away from almost all exp. Katarina wouldn't dare to do anything in early game because she is worse in 1v1 combat. Knife is countered by Q, blink is countered by two basic attacks, ulti is countered by pool. Simply spam Q to win since it quickly becomes more powerful than both of Kat's skillss. When she is on low hp you let the minions push and dive the turret with ghost/flash when the minions protect you from being targeted immediately.

Except Vlad deals more damage with siphon, and he drains life. In mid you will also get to level 3 in like 2 minutes to even out the cooldowns.
At lvl 3, a AD Kat will either have lvl 2 or lvl 3 knives, won't really help. Vlad's transfusion does dmge and leech life, but the leech life isn't sufficient enough to restore the dmge lost by knives. As for the dmge output on the transfusion, I dunno about other Kat's but I always start out with 1 elixir of fortitude and 5 health pots. Usually around lvl 4-5 I still have 2 pots left over (maybe the Elixir too) and enough to get sorcerer boots.
And if you stand between the minions (behind the enemy's minions) you will most likely be targeted by those minions, at least 2. Would a Vlad really sacrifice constant health loss in addition to knife harass?
You don't get targeted if you only use spells. If you do get targeted it is easy to move a bit to the side.
Fortitude is a bitch, but it is countered by the good old waiting game. Stay with your minions and harass with Q. Q is better than the Knife, always.
You say Transfusion is better than Knife, and I agree on a straight broad comparison. But when taking into account the Kat build (the one I use, and almost mostly others do too), the accumulation of these abilities points out that knife will have a slight to medium advantage over Transfusion in the long run.
You're saying it like bouncing blade hits 5 targets at level 1 ... you said level 3 bb at level 3? Are we playing the same game?
Most Kat's I find only get BB to level 2 then prefer to level their escape and bonus skill.
Against a Vlad what you would do is BB->W->BB. Which leaves you with no Shunpo leaving you quite vulnerable to a Transfusion -> Pool/ToB.
You both have forgotten to take into consideration that BB is faster than the heal on Transfusion. Transfusion is NOT an instant heal. If the Kat uses W and BB she can do level damage and half the heal on Vlad. But as Ophion said, leveling in a solo lane is quick. And as soon as Vlad makes a level gap, it's over for Kat.
They are more or less on par in early level harass but when level 5/7 comes Kat loses.
And could you guys please post your builds instead of saying that your build would be so omg awesome against the other? And a set build is never good, just sayin'.
Edit: Veigar is a 1 trick pony in a way. But he should have decent CDR(Deathfire and Runes/Masteries) which should leave his Q on a very low CD. Later on his Q does a ton of damage as well as his W. His stun is aoe and stuns for 2.5 secs not including mercs. He is amazing in team fights because of his AoE stun and constant Q harass as well as his W creating a zone. He's a zoner in team fights, that's all there is to it. He has a mega nuke for their mage. If you kill a support with it you're doing it wrong (unless it's an all DPS team in which case I would aim it at mr. squishiest or the tank(funnily enough))
5 archs no boots and a RoA? That's not how you get max AP in a norm game. It's 4 Archs and 1 Deathcap. The 30% bonus is too much to let up. Sorc boots will give you around 20% more damage against non-MR stackers. But getting max AP in any game is too impracticle, I prefer deathfire for its amazing 30%+ MORE nuke as well as the CDR.
Excuse my wall of Text guys.

I start off with 5 health pots and Elixir of Fortitude, then after that is Sorcerer Boots, from there is varies on the situation.
I said at lvl 3 a Kat will either have lvl 2 or lvl 3 knives, it's not really uncommon, if a AD Kat is getting harassed the player will want to get the upper hand quickly or atleast on par to push the harasser back meaning increased knives. Shupno is iffy on a standard AD Kat build, mostly it's increasing the knives build and atleast getting lvl 2 shupno then after you get maxed knive you will transition into maxing out shupno.
I said before that fixed builds are often a bad idea but on characters like Veigar the only other situation is "I'm getting owned hard." otherwise it's get your burst up to standard for late game.
In other news the new champ looks like all it's screenshots were in his Ulti form. Either that or he's huge in comparison to Nasus.
They ended up naming him "Butcher of the Sands"... is it just me or could any moron point out that was a poor decision? From what I could tell in Nasus' backround, Ren was an all out conquerer, nothing to do with Nasus being the Curator of the Sands...
Besides the point, may the balance issues ensue!!!

Probably not that good, but yea...
What does it mean to be a carry?
But staying on topic. I recall Trundle being a jungler, did he get nerfed down too?
Bluepill is a refrence to the Matrix. o.O
The new champ looks interesting. I've wanted him since I read Nasus' lore.
But I don't know about it being a Croc... I mean... how does that make any sense...

True but Vlad can't farm minions as fast as Kat, plus on each knife hit its guaranteed 95% of the time you will hit the champion + minions.
