Diablo needs to stay on pc and force gamers if they really call themselves gamers to come out of their little console bubble and get involved in pc gaming. Though allowing diablo 3 to hit consoles would be an immense profit from all the dumb dumbs who like to buy multiplayer rpgs with out dated game info to play with themselves instead of getting up in morning and going to burger king or w/e they work. =P
Stay on topic please. I understand your frustration of D3 does hit consoles but this thread is just an opinionated questions of which console is the best. Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii.

the wii all the way, super paper mario, super smash bros.brawl, super mario galaxy, metroid prime 3.corruption, Mario strickers charge, legend of zelda twilight princess, redident evil 4,wii edition, and more, and all the old classics , with the wii's revolutionary controls, the first of its kind, it dosent matter your age, you will be addicted to the wii
The problem I see with the Wii is Nintendo's ever-growing focus on the casual gamer. Look at their E3 press conference. Wii fit got the most time. Now, while Wii fit could be cool, it doesn't really look like something I'd buy and enjoy. Right now, their "hardcore gamer" titles are Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Metroid Prime 3. MP3, definitely a core gamer title. Mario and Supr smash, no matter how fun, would be considered more of a casual game on other consoles.
Right now, I'm fine with Nintendo. Those three games look like tons of fun and I'll enjoy each. Next year, however, I'm not so sure. Those three titles were under development before the whole casual gamer thing went full circle. Now that it is that way, us core gamers could be seeing less and less appealing titles. I hope not, but it might happen.
As for the other two consoles, the 360 has the best games right now, the PS3 has the most capability with the cell processor and blu-ray format. Also, I think PS3 will have more variety in the long-run. You look at the 360's best titles, they're mostly shooters. They're all great shooters, but the Playstation consoles have always had a great variety of games.
I voted for the PS3, just because I think it's capability will make it the best later on.

Appreciate what you've got because, basically, I'm fantastic.

Eh, I would still go with the 360. If PS3 had a better launch with a little bit cheaper prices than yes, PS3. Though 360 didnt have a pretty launch either, for me personally, I am the type of guy who owns all consoles and collects games rather than play them. I have half of tower full of games still in the package. Just got a HDTV 1080i and a PS3 as an early christmas present from....myself But all three consoles have their ups and downs.

I'd go 360 first, it's got more games and much better onlines play than the other two, then the Wii because its the only next gen system, then PS3, because its just a PS2 with better graphics.
I like the wii because they're the only one that has a fair amount of games that appeal to me because it has the most original games. Whereas the other consoles seem to have FPS's and that's about it.
I'm not voting. I don't own any of the systems so I can only base my opinion on what I've heard and observed. And here are the opinions of an observer who tries to stay objective and neutral in this ridiculous console war:
The Wii would get my vote for innovation and trying to reach a new audience. As a console it scores high, but it isn't really for me. It lacks the power, and there are few good exclusives out there. Sugar sweet graphics, which the Wii does best, don't always do it for me either. I still love it though.
As a company, Nintendo is the only one of the three I find respectable. I don't take that into account when judging the consoles, simply because it's a battle between consoles, not companies, but I would certainly consider which company to support when decididing on which one of the consoles to buy.
Then there is the XBox 360. It has been around the longest and has arguably the best and widest array of exclusives. While not as powerful as the PS3, it's still powerful enough for almsot anyone. No next-gen disc player in the original console is a little weak and may soon prove a problem. What it loses in power and disc size to the PS3 it does make up for in exclusives and online functionality, I say.
The fact that the architecture of the XBox 360 is close to that of a PC also makes it easier to convert games for PC. That may perhaps not make you buy an XBox, but it's still a good thing.
PS3. The juggernaught. Raw power. Blu-ray. At first I was sceptical about it. 600+€ (use the google and... ~$900. Yes, electronics are more expensive in Europe than in the US because of some ridiculously high taxes) felt insanely expensive and there wasn't really anything about it I cared much about. But with the new version, with a dropped price that seems far more realistic, my optimism rose. If you give a damn about blu-ray (which I don't), getting a player AND the most powerful current-gen gaming console at the new price is pretty much a steal. More powerful hardware than the XBox360 (sorry Wii, you're playing in a completely different league), which allows for somewhat better graphics.
Conclusion: The Wii takes a step away from the others, going for innovation, group activity and a new audience, rather than going for the same old powerstruggle. With that and a very reasonable price it plays in a division of its own, and does it well. Not to mention its very original games. The ones battling are actually the XBox and the PlayStation, the Wii is too different.
The XBox 360 could possibly be my personal best choise at the moment, mostly because it has almost all the games I'm interested in among the three.
The PS3 has been in for a slow start, and not without a reason. Right now it has pretty much no exclusives I'm interested in, but they will come with time, I'm sure. It may be the most expensive of the three, but the price is reasonable considering the price of blu-ray players. That being said I think the PS3 shows better preperation for the future and more promise. It is likely that it will take the victory if Microsoft don't come up with anything to turn it around soon.
I'm still gonna stick with my PC for a while longer though.

Everything you have just said I 100% agree with. PC is one of the best platforms for games so far since the yield such a high volume of diversity of games. PS3 is expensive yet that is why it is not that popular. 360 is something to go after for their genre of games and exceptional graphics and gameplay. But out of the three...the Wii is what made me feel like a child again playing. Remember the days with Super Nintendo or Maybe when N64 came out and what not. I just played Wii last night with my 5 year old cousin and she beat me in almost every game, yet the innovation and family fun the Wii has brought, without a doubt deserves the top vote. Congrats Esssuse on your response A+++++

I've played the Wii at a friend's house, and it's a blast. The only game I played was Wii Sports, though, which is not exactly a masterpiece, but a fun game nevertheless, and it demonstrates pretty well what the console can do. I would like to see how well it plays other games sometime, too. As a console, it gets my vote, but as I said, it would still probably not be my first choise of purchase.

I have yet to play the Wii or the PS3. So naturally my vote will be for the 360. PC is still the best but for consoles definitly 360.

Hero of the Trojan War, son of Telamon, thus called the Telamonian Ajax, also called Ajax the Greater. In the Iliad he is represented as a gigantic man, slow of thought and speech, but quick in battle and always showing courage. He led the troops of Salamis against Troy and was one of the foremost Greek warriors, fighting both Hector and Odysseus to draws.

I disagree with you Thasador, PC's are the BEST platform for games.
PS3 sucks, games are still better quality on Xbox after all this time.
360 is the best way to go if you're stepping out of computer gaming.
Dude, your cousin beating your ass is nothing bad. It's bad if you got beat outside a Wii though.
I agree with it bringing the family closer, but c'mon. You're telling me that making mario jump on turtles is better than sniping Elites in Halo? Carnage=Ultimate fun. Can't wait for Diablo 3 lol.
But yea, I'm getting a 360 Elite this month for my casual playing. PC is where its at though. PC FTW!!
I would say PC except for 2 reasons
1) Its not on the pole
2) You have to maintain PCs much more often then you have to maintain consoles with all this virus stuff and updates and what not, plus if you dont have a awesome one you iether have to get an update, or a new PC.
I was going to say the people that make them, but they would hate it as much as anyone if one got into their system.
People who produce viruses probably have heavy cloaking and defensive softwares, probably of their own making as well (none of that norton shit, e.g), thus your first statement "The people who make them", is correct.
Although, there are a few morons who can produce viruses but not control their data waves, accidently unleashing them on their own comps. Quite humiliating.
