Saying again what I said at Blizzcon. These people look and sound like tools so I really doubt they're going to find all the major (minor is acceptable) bugs and exploits that people will inevitably find and utilize to blow away their Inferno mode.
I was under the impression one hit-kills had been cut to accomodate the new potion system?
uhhh no. where would you get that idea from?
I remeber an interview from back when health globes were first introduces where someone said they had tried to make the damage less prone to large "spikes" to compensate for the removal of the rejuvenation potions. Googling it I can't seem to find it again though, so I guess I'm wrong.
yes you are. because in all the blizzcon videos and the interviews of ppl playing say they insta-die alot, and you can clearly see the health bars go from full to zero as well.
in D2 there was no healing spells you could do (except holy bolt but couldnt heal yourself with it). and pot spamming was a fail bandaid mechanic and with health globes and healing spells itll be more difficult and more interactive then just spamming all your pots.

"once the pretty hardcore gamers we had testing inferno found it fairly difficult, we then we doubled it" -trolololol jay wilson
Sure, I'm not impressed that this is old footage, but at least they made some effort to throw a video together. One side of me kinda feels like maybe these were fragments from the Collector's Edition's "Behind the scenes" DVD though.
When some posters like me say that "D3 will be too easy," we ussually mean that Diablo 2 in and of itself wasn't that hard. It had some tough moments, but the reality was that lag or gimmicky shit like Act 4 iron maiden woes were one big hurdle to overcome. You lagged out for 3 seconds or get one shot by iron maiden? Oh well shit happens...
We just don't want D3 to be considerably MORE easy than D2 was. That's all. Honestly.

Some people tell me I'm going to hell. I just let them know that I've already packed my bags!
Are these the same playtesters who were never able to kill Yogg-saron on the easiest difficulty setting?
no they are the most elite play testers of all time. best game players in the entire world obviously. and if they die in the second of 4 difficulties then EVERYONE will obviously die.

Yes, but not everyone went to Blizzcon or watched it. And it's not bad old news, in my opinion. I think it was a nice little reminder that, yes, you can die. Just not in the beta.
why even release old footage of systems and skills no longer in the game? Its like spitting in the fans face. Ok there is inferno, we will die. Just keep us in the loop with the state of the game, not rehash old material.
