I just realized what was wrong with my question. =/
All he did was influence them, just because he's that powerful. He wasn't even in a physical form at the time. But yeah, he had the Zakarum priests shatter his soulstone and forced them to drive the shards into their left palms, and the largest was driven into Sankekur's palm.
But at least you showed your knowledge on the subject. So points for that.
