Ooo, I like that kind of nuance, it really brings character to the world around you. DAMN, getting a job around here is hard, I cant get a ps3 unless I get a job or deal(which would be stupid for multiple reasons).
I thought this game was great, i don't own it but i've been playing a lot at a friends house. The new warrant system is much better, you can get ejected from your windshield if you hit a wall fast enough, you can get drunk (which is actually a lot of fun trying to walk around/drive while really drunk) and thats only a percent of the stuff you can do. i would give this game a 9.5/10 i wish you could fly planes, then again you can fly a helicopter which has guns on it, i change my rating to 10/10 just because i like to blow shit up.
How did they work around the ol' "prostitute in a convertible ordeal"?
I've never tried it, but I don't think they had to. Even if you have a car with a top, you can still see the action going down inside very clearly.
This isn't like last games, where the car would just be shaking ... on GTA 4 (there's obviously no penis), but the actions you pay for are acted out ... pretty well, I might add. So even if you have a top, you can watch it just the same with a twist of the camera.
Was going outside (monday i think) to get the game. My country is a bit sloooooow when it comes to stuff like games, so i figured it wouldn't be sold out, guess i was wrong. (although i know of some little gameshops none go to)
Anyways, it struck me that it didn't really bothered me that much (gonna get the game in a week or so), oh and it was freaking good weather so i didn't even wanted to sit infront a tv right now (plus when its night i rather play dwarf fortress, i'm addicted).
So... anyone up for writing a review of this game? (no john or fbim4 please)
I walked into my cousins room the other day and her boyfriend was playing GTA4 and he was bowling. I asked him what he was doing and he said was on a date. Is it really that detailed? What do you guys rate GTA4 on detail?
You can go on dates to multiples places. You can see cabaret, stand up comedy, go bowling, play darts, shoot pool, get dinner. Afterwards, if the dates go well and the girl likes you enough, you can go back to her place and bone the crap out of her.
As far as replay value goes, I would say its not all that high. The missions will be the same on each play through. I do think there is enough content to get at least 50 hours out of it if you want to try everything, which almost eliminates a replay value.
I don't understand how the replay value matters to you while you still play Diablo 2 and do the same things over and over and over hundreds of times.
