I'm in the look out for a good cheap mouse pad and am wonder what people are using, but mostly, has anyone used the Diablo 3 Steelseries barbarian mouse pad? I kinda like the looks, it's pretty cheap and looks big enough. Any opinions?

I'm using the Razer Sphex. Paid like R90 ($11.95) or something (Not $15 like link). Not that cheap, but it works real good. Only problem I have is that it doesn't stick to any surface like they said, but then again the it doesn't shift at all when moving my mouse over it.
I prefer thin mouse pads, not so obstructive when gaming obviously. Don't know whether 2mm is in the thin or thick wagon of thickness though...
Completely agree. It's why I'm using the Logitech G5, second revision. For 5 years now. When, or actually IF it breaks down one day I'll be buying the same one.
off topic : since you brought up mouses, I figured I'd share with you guys by far the best mouse I have ever used.
The Razor Naga. a 19 button (if counting scrolling up and down with mousewheel) mouse that's simple ridiculous. The 1-12 buttons by your thumb auto map to your 1 through = on your keyboard, and with the flip of a switch be mapped to your numpad.
It took me like 35 minutes to muscle memory the 1-12, and now it's like eff keybindings, i'll do it on my mouse. It also has two buttons directly to the left of the left click, also useful =D
With this mouse I can easily bind my 6 skills, my 7th slot (auto attack or w/e, potion maybe), every interface function that I could possibly need and more.
Slightly spendy, when I bought mine was ~$99, but way worth it. Used it for over a year straight, no wear and tear whatsoever.
( I also recommend the Razor Nostromo speedpad, simply because of the added buttons and the comfort; You can keep your keyboard straight for when you want to type, and move the speedpad to the angle that's best for your wrist. =)
On topic (slightly) : I use a Hypersonic mousepad, the things like a foot wide from left to right, and like 8 inches up and down, never have to pick up my mouse and center it to get across mah screen =)
I'm sadly one of those people that see Razer as the Apple equivalent of the gaming industry. Which they are as they are owned by Apple mostly. A lot of shiny looking tech, made to look really cheap, always way too light to feel comfortable and so on. Not gonna go into it, just my thoughts.
The Naga in specific I don't like simply because I've been resting my thumb on the side of the mouse for 10+ years now and I love squeezing it as I go into overdrive mode with the clicking. Impossible with the Naga. I need to treat it like a butterfly, which it is not.
And back on mousepads! I'm still actually aiming at the D3 Barb SS pad. Will probably get it with my next paycheck. Might give my thoughts about it here if people are interested.

Glass, wood, metal,,. ugh no.
I got an old peoplesoft cloth pad, it's BIG unlike most modern mousepads which are simply too small to allow for comfortable gaming.

2 main buttons,, while they could easily be using 4 or 6 around the wheel.
And that razer naga is just a freak of a thing that is impossible to hold..
