One good thing about Blizz's games are they aren't too demanding on your PC. If your computer is a few years old, shouldn't have any issues running the game. Ram is super cheap anymore, can get 8 gigs around 70 bucks. You can get a vid card 100-150 dollars depending and be able to run it on high settings. Was kind of upset there wasn't going to be an Ultra setting, figured there would be since WOW had it.
It`s pretty amazing what Blizzard can do with their games in terms of system requirement. When I first saw some videos of the game running, I thought the requirement would be much higher. It seems even I with my humble PC will now be able to play it on maximum settings (or at least, close to maximum). I`m loving this!
I sure hope it will run well on a 15-inch MacBook Pro. One of my friends had the beta key and tried to run it on a Dell M1530, but he didn't went any further from the lowest setting. I'd be very grateful if someone tell me the minimum GPU memory for max Anti-Aliasing
It's nice to know what the requirements are. Glad to know that my computer will most definitely be able to handle this game. If assuming the requirements are for running it on low settings, then I should be able to run the game on high settings. woot! :Thumbs Up:
*Sigh. At casual laptop owners not knowing what decent graphics cards are most of them with shitty 310m's or less thinking "yay i have a dedicated GPU" in reality they're marginally better than intel hd... if you expect to play a ARPG on one of those then go buy torchlight ... Least I got my Nvidia gt540m to play on the move expecting medium-high at 1366x768 . Common Blizzard i just figuired out how to submit using my card not intel hd gimmmmme Bettta.
lol those specs are very easy to meet, even for people runnin off of generic laptops. A min. of 7800gt? I lol'd. Even those with 310m's will do fine at medium/low settings. No need to flame on ppl that don't know tech much.
On a diff note, I'm looking forward to 1080fhd w/ultimate settings @60+ fps on the laptop I finished building not long ago. So excited!
Blizzard is smart enough that they won't make the game too intense on graphics. Just like world of Warcraft they will make sure that you can utilize a good graphics card but not make a bad card cripple your game play experience.
I've always wanted to know as to why theres always a system requirement?
I feel there should be an equal running on all computer systems. And if say you have a dinosaur then you should have a waiver signed in case something was to happen. I guess, you could avoid that by setting bundaries on the type of systems that the beta requires butt it seems a bit biased to me. That you have to have a high tech Computer to test out the game. Not trolling or anything just wanting to know more about this. I have a good computer myself so this doesnt really apply to me. But I'm just curious as to why? Is it because It would require more work and the effects and graphics of the game would be ruined?
I feel some people having the game to play would make them happy if a certain computer is all they had.
the system spec is as per usual for these kind of games: pretty low its nothing new here really.
personally i kinda like that the specs are set quite low that will mean that more players will be able to play it thus generating more revenue for blizzard which hopefully will make them catering our needs alot better (not sure if it has any relevance, since blizzard has plenty cash).
