Pretend you get into the beta. Once you are in, can you allow someone, say a close friend, to log into your account and dl the beta and play it from his machine using your log in information?

Most will probly say no, but I've done it during the sc beta, shared info with 3 different people, in 2 different countries lol, never got an email or account shut down. If you get hacked tho... good luck getting help from blizz. Also only share it with people you KNOW wont fuck you're account over, they wont help with that either.
If you trust them, meh go for it if you want. I've done it with previous blizz beta's, nothing bad happened

well you could....but its kinda not exactly allowed by blizzard. like its possible but you really shouldnt be doing it. Im sure your friend is trustworthy but there are possibilities.
WHAT IF? your friend had a stalker who peeked through the window of his room and saw that he was sharing account info with someone. now to make this even crazier this stalker is actually a blizzard employee. Now you've got a problem! he knows your friend is sharing accounts with someone, since he was looking at your friends computer chat box from across the street with his binoculars. Now lets say hes a hard ass, and thinks you are both totally cheating the system by sharing. He turns in that info(without saying he was totally stalking someone of course). Now your account gets cancel or banned. NOW YOU'VE GOT A PROBLEM. Highly unlikely but still possible.
No you shouldn't share info...unless say its like your sibling who lives at your house.
It's against the terms of use, but I wouldn't worry about any consequences if you share it with someone you trust like a close friend. My brother is usually the ones who get access to all the betas so I always "borrow" his account, and will do so if he gets access to the D3 beta and I don't.
He just wants to see IF the game will run on his computer really, not talking hard core both having chars or anything, just will it run and how well

Well, nobody is going to say "go ahead, it's not a big deal" because nobody would like you to lose your beta access (which they might revoke if they find out).
Personally, I don't think Blizzard would ban someone for sharing his/her account with 1 more person, for something like 10 minutes. But again, remember, it's not a risk I would take if I were you.

Pretty big "what if's" imo
one thing that would even bother me if this happened.
- Blizzard employees should be finishing diablo III so we can play it.. not creeping house to house window spying
I've shared my account with other people since I got into the SC2 and Cata betas. I've shared it with different people, and I never had a problem. I trust them enough to not be idiots about it. If you're wary at all, then don't do it. Not going to say 100% that you won't get banned, but it's unlikely.

No, it is against the Terms of Use. Only you can use your account. If Blizzard finds out that you did this, they will ban your account... permanently.
Die fr00b, die~
What happens if you visit your friend and use your own account there?

Thanks for the responses

They aint gonna know who is playing....as long as you two dont live 500 miles away or something.
And login within 10 mins of one another.
I played my friends SC2 beta more than him, nothing happened.
A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
