Heading into Season 7 there are keys questions that need to be addressed and talking about frivolities like the Goblin Giggle is just pure Bovine Scatology and a waste of time.
!. What is being done to break up the 1 dps and 3 support meta?
2. How is the monotony of the endless same grind of paragon chasing being addressed?
3. Is the crafting system being improved?
4. Will all classes be able to participate in the end game beyond support roles?
5. Will the community and matchmaking system ever be improved?
6. What is the future vision for D3 beyond Season 6?
This list can go on and on with many serious topics, but instead we get insights into bullocks like the goblin giggle.

Really Blizz team?
If what they wrote on one of ptr patches is correct, you cannot stack damage buffs/incoming damage debuffs on mobs anymore, so RIP supp WD.
Monk will always be supp because of his uber healing, and I think that barbarians will share slot with DH.
Maybe we see crusader in meta, first time from s1 if I remember correctly lol.
The goblin post was a good read. I always find posts like that interesting. So much more thought goes into things like this then one could imagine. I like it and since posting things like that doesn't effect game development, balancing or content its fine and great that they write things like that. Makes you understand more of the thought progress behind a game, which is great!
Sure people are interested in gamedesign. But its like you lost one arm and the doctor shows you some makeup tutorials instead of fixing your arm or at least stop the bleeding....

Thats what we complain about.
More like you lose an arm and while waiting for the doctor, who's busy with other patients, reading a magazine. No point in being angry with the magazine if the doctor takes time
Did you not get what i meant? your example is something completely different. Its about how crucial it is to fix the points the OP mentioned to keep the game alive. Then they can show how their game design works. Or if they have the capabilities they could do both but not show game design things as an excuse for "we do nothing now".
I guess the main problem here is that you guys are holding on to a dying game way to hard. Let it go. Wait for the next installment. Diablo 3's days of glory is long gone. Look at the quality on the last patch. Look at the quality on this patch. Minor crap and some vanity items. They are working on something new and we will most likely see that, next blizzcon.

BECAUSE EVERYTHING THAT BLIZZARD DOES HAS TO DIRECTLY IMPROVE THE GAME OR WE RAGE!!! AND BLIZZARD WON'T LIKE US WHEN WE'RE ANGRY! OUR KEYBOARD IS REALLY LOUD!
Dude, chill out. This has nothing to do with the work on the game. It's just a little blog post from designer to designers and others interested in game design.
If keyboard is too loud maybe you should buy cheaper one, with simple membrane, not that ultra expensive mechanic crap.

I understand your point, it just seem that OP is very hostile and uses the blizz post about goblin sounds as a bat or spring board, which is kinda unrelated.

What do you mean by "dying" game? They're constantly tweaking, adding and messing around with things. It's just getting better and better. It ain't new and shiny though and I guess a grind game such as Diablo could grow tiresome quite fast if you only play that game.

I don't understand that about buffs/debuffs, can you please give an example.
If I understand what was written in PTR patch notes, new patch will be like this.
You make a classic toad of hugeness support WD build. Oh, jolly good time, let's play some grifts! WRONG. Your mass confusion damage buf do not stack with damage buff from toads, does not stack with damage buff from slam dance, does not stack with damage buff from wave of mutilation pirhanas, does not stack with your damage buff from grasp of the dead... Oh, poor WD, your supporting days are over.
If I got it wrong, shame on me.
When I saw this thread name I was like wtf is this #$%@... Then I saw todays green post... Goddamn Blizzard, r u for real?
So many real problems in the game and we focus on Goblin's giggle... GG 10/10, would read again.
I don't think that's the focus... it's just a distraction. Something else to read and, you might be surprised at this, many people would probably find it an interesting article too. Blizz do not have to reveal 100% of what they are doing to you all the time now, do they? Not interested in it? Don't read it. That simple. There are many people who are different from you.
I'm still trying to understand how that article about development work on their game design lead to this. Seems like a forceful correlation to vent your anger. Calm down.

I see from your avatar that Goblin's giggle brought a smile to your face. That's good, man, that's real good.

Because it's better to be happy and enjoy life as is, don't you think so?
There have already been a large amount of feedback made to Bliz from the community and I am sure they are more than well aware of the issue at hand. However, whether they choose to address those or not is their own discretion. No amount of complaining or being angry will change their mind. We can go on bashing our head on the brick wall all we want. If they don't want to do a thing then they won't do a thing.
Better to just enjoy the game, or just move on, than being angry about something we cannot change, or being angry to someone who is trying to point it out to you, wouldn't you agree?

So, based on that logic, we should be happy about ISIS since we can't change it. Look, another 25 civilians burned alive in cages! Let's giggle together, my friend!

1. Didn't compare game to ISIS, just compared what @udomsa33 said about us being unable to change anything should make us happy or something.
2. I know Blizzard is not focusing on giggle but I fail to see why are we informed about this topic right now. 2 seasons of twisters, man, noone is quite happy about that, right?

This thread is retarded! It's like you think the whole budget of D3 was used to tell us about the goblin giggle!
