You guys are WAY too hopeful. You should all really be hoping that D3 will eventually be abandoned so if ANYTHING, a new, streamlined Diablo game could be worked on with a new dev team (or at least someone who knows about the game in charge).

You're all wrong. Necro was a final cash-grab for the devs to do before they abandon ship at some point.

Let me get this straight...(I didn't read everything so correct me if I'm wrong)
So Necro was recorded to be hitting 58 QUADRILLION damage on certain streams (duhh big numbers me d3 dev) and now they're making abilities hit for even more weapon damage? eg. Army of the Dead rune for 50k weapon damage
What are the devs doing? This is looking to be just a fan service at this point and not an actual new class.. I hope a next installment of the franchise is NOT run by the same people.

you guys should just wait for the next installment of the diablo franchise tbh (if there even WILL be one) this game is beyond repair at this point.

You have to admit this is at least a "decent" patch, it's definitely better than what we've been given in the past. In my opinion this patch is good enough to hold us over until either the next minor patch, or until the supposed "major" patch included with the Necro expansion release. You guys should lighten up; and if not, go play PoE or Grim Dawn or something. Take that negativity shit somewhere else.

Diablo III was only WIDELY successful because it was preordered by everyone who played Diablo II, thinking it would be a streamlined masterpiece. They must've done a good job marketing or something, cause I remember the launch of D3 being absolutely catastrophic, Not only that, but Reaper of Souls promised us a lot of good changes; which some were delivered, but the game is just too repetitive and a snoozefest.

no
There are 6 characters in Diablo 3. 2 class for each main stat:
(Dex = Monk and Demon Hunter)
(Int = Witch Doctor and Wizard)
(Str = Barbarian and Crusader)
So it's balanced.
So if this new character 'Necromancer' let's say it's an (Int class) then it will be un-balanced.
Unless Blizz will reveal 2 other char for (Str and Dex)?

LUL, but Necromancer still had a variety of Golems (Gargantuan) and little Skeleton buddies (Zombie dogs? in a way)..

Diablo 4 won't happen. And if it does, you can expect it to be worked on by a bunch of third-rate developers strikingly similar to the D3 team.

Sorry for the clickbait title, but I want to know if Zuni pets can compete with the likes of Firebats WD. It would be built similar to Helltooth Gargs but the plus side is that your pet deal 1100% more damage (ht 6pc - zuni 6pc)
I know people are kind of sick of pet builds as of late since Helltooth was topping leaderboards for like 3 seasons in a row, but does anyone have some insight as to how Zuni is performing in the 2.5 PTR? I'd greatly appreciate any info

THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS, PLZ BLIZZ!

As the title says, I'm interested if anyone knows if the Poison Nova from Andariel's procs the Poison Nova on Shard of Hate. I've checked Google and even ancient D3 Forums, and some say yes but some say no. I don't have the items to test, so can anyone confirm if this is true or not? It would be greatly appreciated

honestly i'd rather see a variety of other changes before something like this would ever be thought of, think of the game how it is...

Would anyone like to see these added to the MOTE build items?
Blade of the Tribes: Now also makes Battle Rage or Wrath of the Beserker trigger an earthquake + Avalanche
Dread Iron: Causes [removed: ground stomp] Leap to cause an Avalanche.
feel like these would make it viable

They ruined globe meta with the Solanium nerf, so you're gonna have to find something else to run in 4man groups. ZWD is still fine for now seeing how they did nothing to the damage amplification (that we know of) but we're gonna need something else to fill the other two slots. Maybe... a full tank crusader built on doing nothing but absorbing damage? Or maybe even a barbarian for that? It gives us a lot more experimenting to try with items.

Wow. A thorns pet build sounds neat as fuck.

I'm just a little confused regarding how you get the set...
"In Season 5 you can receive a free 6 piece set for your class if you complete the 3 following tasks of the Season Journey.
You will receive the set via mailbox."
1. reach lvl 70 (rewards the first two pieces of the set)
2. Slay Zoltun Kulle at level 70 on Torment II or higher (rewards another two pieces of your set)
3. Reach Greater Rift Level 20 Solo (rewards the rest of your set)

So... does that mean I have to do the season journeys associated with those tasks or just the tasks alone? Lvl 70, kill kulle, and grift 20? Nothing else?
