I liked the way it was in D2. Remember that level cap and level curve aren't the same. In a couple of days you could easily reach 85 in D2 which would be considered high-level. So reaching end game was easy. Then if you sought more challenge you could go for the higher 90s which took a year. So reaching level cap was very difficult.
D2 was way better than LOD in this regard.
I hope D3 follow D2.
1000-2000, sounds about right. I mean it has to take a long time to become equal in power to a nephalem.

I would go with 240 hours.. which is exactly 10 days played... I may want to lower it a bit since leveling in Diablo III should be faster than in WoW, and in WoW you hit 70 in about 10 days if you are casual if I could use that as an example.
Exactly, D2 was the shit ! I mean, level 99 was like 0_0... you've spent all that time in sanctuary. I don't want to see people attain the level cap in only 2 months... that's not enough. I must agree Mruos on this one, people who want to go all the way to 80-85 will need around (causual gamers like me) 3-4 months, 1 month devouted, 3 weeks hardcore. To attain the insane level of 99 will take like 1 year, 3 months devouted, 1 month hardcore. The higher you wanna be, the harder you must work :P.
