Anyone else annoyed by your lack of luck of drops. My friend quit the game after he killed diablo on inferno and recently came back after some nagging from me. I was bored as well and wanted someone to level paragon with. So he starts back up and since reaching level 20 probably has linked me atleast 20 legendaries that have dropped for him. I play game a whole lot more than he does and I have gotten 3 legendaries, 1 of which I could actually sell for something. I know this is a game of luck but its still annoying.
I was having a streak of bad luck but this weekend I found a set of Zunnimassa's boots with a good roll (sold for 15 million) and two legendaries that were meh. Got a few good rares as well that I was able to sell for 500k or more.
You just have to play and keep playing - don't worry so much about the drops as they will come in due time.
I just hit paragon 20 and I only run with about 225 mf with 5 stacks so I don't go crazy with the MF like some do though I do switch over to all my MF gear when leets and bosses die.
It's very important to get your paragon levels up so that's what I'm focusing on at this time.
*edit: I just wanted to add how much I play for reference. During the week I probably play 3 hours a day after work and the weekend I play around 6 or 7 hours. Always Act 3 - sometimes full clears, sometimes just certain areas and some pub play mixed in to keep things more interesting.
I'm really annoyed when I go to Las Vegas for a week and some jerkoff at the table next to me is having all of the luck. I wonder if the casino has a forum I can rant on to let everyone know how upset I am over playing a random game and not hitting the jackpot every time?
yeah it happens though i'm paragon 15 now and have had 2 legendary drops. a crappy rolled tasker and theo and some lvl 52 dh cloak with crappy rolls it's been about a week or so since i've found anything worth selling on the ah for over 3m. but rng is rng all it takes is that 1 good item and you're good
I got a bit right-click happy and I vendored an int/vit/res all/crit damage/life regen pair of gloves... ones which were an upgrade on what I was wearing (yes, I found a legitemate upgrade for myself). By the time I realized it I had already pushed it off the buyback tab.
The problem people have is that when you pick up rares, there is no way to distinguish junk rares from great ones. You have an inventory full of yellows, and it takes about a minute to identify them all and you're just sitting there, right clicking away, knowing that 95%+ of what you get is junk.
Yes, it makes it seem awesome when you find a legendary, only to find out after identifying it that it is also a load of junk.
There are too many affixes which can roll on items, which nullify the chance of finding a good item. Weapons need either crit chance, or a socket, as well as one (or more) of the damage affixes along with mainstat/vit. Helmets need sockets, virtually every other piece of gear needs a high all-resistance roll along with armor/main stat/vit, and either crit chance or crit damage. Because you can get some absolute junk rares with no desirable stats (Extra HP from Health Globes, Increased pickup radius, gold find, etc) the number of rares you take a quick look at, and vendor straight away is so, so high.

Yeah, except getting drunk at a blackjack table in Vegas is infinitely more fun than farming Act III until you develop arthritis, regardless of whether or not you win a single hand.

*rage*
lol .. I did something like this yesterday. I was just id'ing everything I had and I do not even pay attention since most items are below ilvl62. Anyway, I right-clicked on an amulet I already had id'd and accidentally equipped it without knowing and sold the one I wear to the vendor. I noted later when I saw my dps was down a few thousand and my mf was 30+ off .. lol
Kill more elites! That's all there is to it, sometimes your going to have bad streaks with no luck but it will change if you keep killing stuff, it's a grind.
Do you have any toons you've perfected into efficient farmers and have 10-20k+ elite kills?? My guess is no.

this is my main character so i think i meet the criteria..(it wont let me post links)
and for all the people qqing about my qq i agree that it is annoying to see other people complaining that they are annoyed that they see posts of annoyed people being annoyed by annoying drops.. isnt it annoying
Every legendary I've found (maybe 5) I found on the weekend. Since I'm a university student my playtime on any said day is roughly the same but I get better rares and legendaries dropping on Saturday and Sunday. Weird.
While seeing someone else getting all the rng love doesn't worry me I would like to find at least one useful rare per act clear, for any class.

Think of this game as a slot machine, but instead of inserting coins, you're inserting your time. You could hit the jackpot after one hour, or you could walk away with nothing after 100 hours.

Looking at your WD main, no MF,...less then 4k elite kills,...ya....Not even close.
Overall nice collection but how much of your time has been spent grinding inferno vs lvling new toons? If you want loot you got to focus on farming.
For comparison I've got over 15k on my barb alone.

You said it, but I will quote it for emphasis.
