elemental is fine, it even add debuff with your elemental wepon, so even if only 1 elemental spell, you get perma + 10% cause weapon rarely match your spell element (if not, well...)
The reason I dislike Hydra is because it is static. Even worse when you do get the wand and have to cast it twice to get the benefit of the weapon. If the weapon just doubled the dmg of the hydra I might be more inclined to use it because you can more easily place and progress with just one. And you can't fix it by having it become a pet that follows you because then it just isn't interesting and isn't a diablo hydra.
Hydra is easily the most boring build and requires the staff to have two hydras. Why did Blizzard nerf Channeling moves and buf Hydra...Screw Hydra, it's so bad it's pathetic. Wizards are taking slap after slap with these updates...Whatever time to move on to an actually good toon.
You would prefer having your attacks Nerf'd so that elites can chase you back to the way point while you fruitlessly pick away at them with a hundred attacks? That's how it was when the auction house was still in action. Stick and run is a great tactic, but it got old fast.

Wizards haven't changed, it's either use a running away tactic or move a lot of you will die and that's it.
You can't how? Hands, helm, chest, feet, shoulders make five + rorg and you can have 6 set bonus. Legs and source spots are open for depth diggers and mirrorball
Infact Hydras is one of the biggest spells and most memorable since D2.
I look forward to using it again.
