I'm not going to type out every existing problem, you said comment on what you think about 2.1 being released. I said what I think. I'm not a Diablo 3 developer.
Here's an example - 3 things I wish patch 2.1 fixed:
1. I don't like that every class goes for main stat + vit in terms of attributes, I wish they buffed secondary stats' bonuses for other classes, so that you could actually benefit from getting some dexterity as a Barbarian.
2. I don't like that there's not a lot of bounty variety - I wish they added more fun things to do while playing bounties, like for example changed the boss bounties to teleport you directly to boss' lair, but make the fight itself much more difficult to differentiate this type of bounty from the others (by not having the player run around the map).
3. I don't like that emeralds are simply the best in weapon socket - I wish they greatly buffed other options to make them more competitive.

Wizard main problem is everything. Damage output and toughness suck. Channeling spells with get you killed every time. And mandatory skills/passives aren't a problem if the few skills left can carry the class DPS-wise. At the moment, the real problem is damage, not survivability. The wizard doesn't have enough damage, so you have to sacrifice a lot of survivability to compensate that lack of DPS. It is a problem because the class can play with less skills, and it's not fair when you see other classes, but each class has its mandatory spells, be it for DPS or survivability (Akarat Champion Horse, Sentry Vault, Spirit Walk, etc...). It's not that bad.

Not really, all you need is unity and firebirds and you should be able to get past 25 pretty easily. I just wish they would give us more abilities that deal fire damage. Seems silly the 6 set bonus only works on fire and then give us so few ways to deal fire damage (although i think every wiz would agree that it would be more fun and allow for amazing build diversity if they dropped the whole firebird set must be fire based stuff). Giving a single rune for AT/disintegrate that dealt fire damage I think would open up a lot more builds as right now while I think we scale much better we are still basically forced into mm conflag (less you have a WoW)
There are actually quite a lot of fire spells.. It's just that they all suck for some reason.

I would't worry about a socket in that nice thing. I would roll Attack Speed to Crit Chance or if you want, socket. My choice would be Crit Chance.Quote from avelollo91
Today, while hunting for a WoW, I was lucky enaugh to drop a very nice Xephirian Amulet (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/xephirian-amulet):
+20% fire damage
86 % CHD
+27.478 from globes
I need some help figuring out how to properly reroll it; i guess it boils down to either:
AS -> CHC
Int -> CHC
AS -> Socket (obv considering 2.1 gems)
I will wait for 2.1 before taking any decision, expecially as I'm still hoping that Blizzard will allowRamaldini's Gift to be used on Rings&Amus, but I would like to know what you guys think.
Playing MM/Archon right now but I'm probably going for SS/Firebird (assuming they fix Hydra) in 2.1, unless i can find a WoW.
