Energy = Mana
Lethality = Armor piercing, critical hits, or %damage 2 demons/undead/players
Multistrike = multiple hits (jab/zeal)
Power = Strength
Striking = Dont know
Im hoping for a casting speed and an attack speed rune.

I think you don't know yet but now the runes work with your skills not your items as it used to be.
Energy = reduced mana cost
Lethality = uncomfirmed
Multistrike = multiple projectiles or multiple hits
Power = increased damage
Striking = additional strike damage added to any skill
And when he does, I hope he summons more than just skeletons and dumb revived monsters...
Skeletons are cool, but they should evolve graphically, by getting more and more equipment. Max lv Summon Skeleton should make bad ass skeletons with shield, helmet, heavy rusty armor, etc... or be gradually replaced by more powerfull yet similar undead, so that when the skill is maxed, the Necromancer could summon Hellknights and *gasp* Oblivion Knights @.@
if they did bring him back they would prolly do something similar to that but with awesome passive skills that would make his skeletons do more damage and have better armor.
waht.......thats just weird why would she/he hold a book in one hand and a sword in the other.....
but in the wizard trailer she does hold a globe like ball the whole time as she walks, then she throws it on the ground and blasts all the zombies away...
thats cool
i think the wizard is gonna be top of my list as a character, unless one of the other two unknown classes just somehow is way cooler than the wizard, but i doubt that unless they can fire machine guns or is a protoss zealot...hahahahahaha
the wizard is fucking crazy... imagine if they keep Tal Rasha's set in d3 (which i hope they will... its sounds logical too). you will probably look so cool with a male wizard compared to the sorc from d2 xD
I dont know if anyone noticed this but i saw someone mentioning it... You can see the Male Wizard if you go to the main wizard class page and look at those few skills... The last 2 skills are with the male wizard. It kinda low quality, but its cool.
I personally didnt know that untill yesterday, and i was pretty excited it was like blizz revealed something new lol
Ah, I loved guardian.
Hopefully it makes a comeback, won't flip if it doesn't though.
Surely to god they'll bring back some of the old favorite spells, so I'm sure we'll see it somewhere.
As for returning the same, I doubt it. Blizz seems to tweak their old stuff when they bring it back.

After reading the lore of the Wizard, did anyone else stop and think this is exactly the type of character that the D2 assassin Natalya and her order were created to hunt down.
Something tells me this class will be tied in with her as a concurrent story in D3 or....possibly just her fate.
i hate the wizard
no offense, kinda a cool concept but im just not the caster-type
id rather be beating the crap out of my enemies with a maul than standing back and watching them get burnt with fire bolt or some shizz

Eh, the Vizjerei were designed to hunt down mages who abused their power (and / or sided with the demons of old), not all mages who could wiggle their fingers and blow things up. (Although, I would love to learn that trick.)
I would love to see if Natalya's story does tie into D3 though, through whatever means.

well i think they would, the wiz bg story says that "she" was a "rebellious" wiz who liked to learn more about the forbidden spells, so yeah, maybe, who knows
They might be something like this but who knows

Lethality = Armor piercing, critical hits, or %damage 2 demons/undead/players
Multistrike = multiple hits (jab/zeal)
Power = Strength
Striking = Dont know

Does this mean items aren't going to have as much impact on characters skills, and abilities?

im a big fan of holding spell books. looks so bad ass when a wizard has a book in one hand and a sword in the other.

Cant wait...
Adding those skills to the elemental magic, i foresee a broght future on the wizards path (?)
I personally didnt know that untill yesterday, and i was pretty excited it was like blizz revealed something new lol
they added the annoying dung beatle lightning to the wiz xD
ill eventually use everyone i think barb and wiz are first on list so far =3
Be my Buddy =^.^=
guardian and hydra are my fav spells
