Without testing it I would say yes, but I'm sure each skill has been tweaked for just such an occasion. Something like that would be pretty OP'd, and I'm guessing casting it once counts has 1 'hit' for any procs / leeches.
i think they clearly say increase the number of HITS and the weapon says per HIT so i guess it should be +20, if it doesn't then they should change the description of the rune and the one for several sided strike
I have to agree that I think each hit could very well leach life. The only thing I see as a issue is most of the leach life weapons Iv found say convert a percent of damage into life. I could just be forgetting one that does grant health per hit.
Let us assume for the time being that the second strike counts as 7 hits. Then lets take a look at the skills :-
1.Fists of Thunder(Quickening)
Out of the three strikes, you have three chances to generate additional spirit.
2.Deadly Reach(Strike from Beyond)
Out of the three strikes, again you have three chances to generate additional spirit.
3.Crippling Wave(Rising Tide)
Same as the above two.
4.Way of The Hundred Fists(Spirited Salvo)
Now lets see....every activation of the skill has a chance to generate additional spirit. Therefore, this gets three chances to generate an additional spirit. This proves that the second hit contains 7 strikes, not one.Because if it was only one strike, then what stopped the developers from making this rune effect the same as others? They did not give this skill chance to generate spirit on crits because this skill gives you 9 hits in three activations, whereas others give only three hits in three activations.
Hence something like this will definitely be badass when used together with the second strike:-
Grinding Gear Games (Company that produced POE): "These are great Ideas, we will use them for sure as they are clearly what the player base is looking for."
Blizzard: "While we agree that this game needs re-working and that these ideas could help the future of this game, we have no plans to listen to our fan-base at this time."
EXACTLY!!! (^ ^)
which is why i had to double check if its really true as i find it rather...too good to be true? hehe...
And then if a monk has attack speed of 3.00 attacks per second...(!_!)
@kblavkalash:- That rune increases the number of strikes from 7 to 10,and also increases the damage from 140% weapon damage to 200% weapon damage(second strike only of course). And the monsters also flinch a lot from the strikes making them impossible for them to attack you wheteher they have high damage or low damage.Making monsters flinch in rapid succession 10 times along with dodge chances will help us survive, because now we know monsters have 28 k dmg in inferno

According to the skill description for the skill rune: Hands of Lightning, it says "Increases the number of hits in the second strike from 7 to 10."
Does it truly "hit" a monster 10 times?
Does that mean if i have a ring or a weapon with a suffix "+2 Life on Hit", i get +20 Life?
and sorry for the late reply - been busy with so many things lately.
I belive the one that does a percentage of damage is "Of the Vampire" or something like that.

With rune effect, 10 hit = 200%
IMO
