Today I want to show another work in progress build with the updated M6 set, this time revolving around cold Kridershot with Elemental Arrow and Cluster Arrow/Maelstrom as your main nuke.
In this video I go over the build, gear, paragon, discuss possible optimizations, explain the strengths/weaknesses of a rocket heavy build on single vs. multiple targets, and showcase its power in a greater rift. Enjoy!
Correction: Night Stalker may not work with Elemental Arrow, so Blood Vengeance will likely be the replacement.
Can't wait for season 2. Hope they will launch it this month, though they haven't announced the end of season 1 yet. Btw, cull the weak passive instead of blood vengeance? Or you don't use that because of frostburn...:-?
Not coming this month. Blizz said there will be an announcement 30 days prior to season 1 ending and there's been no announcement.
Not using Cull the Weak because CC is unreliable. Unless you can keep mobs CC'd the entire time (you can in groups, but not solo), you won't have enough uptime on the debuff.

How is the CC unreliable with Frost Arrow? The arrow splits into different chunks and chills the target. Isn't chill considered a CC? It shouldn't be unreliable if you are firing the arrow, which shouldn't be a problem since it's a hatred generator with that bow.
It's unreliable in the new patch because your sentries don't auto fire - only when you do. Frost arrow chills for 1 second, meaning you'll need to fire off a frost arrow every at LEAST once EVERY second in order to maintain a debuff. What happens when you're full on hatred and spam Cluster Arrow? No debuff, because you're not firing frost arrows. That's why it'll be unreliable.

Why do you spam CA? You should rotate EA and CA.
If you can burst down an elite pack using 4x CA, then let your hatred regen before the next pack, you are more time efficient. Rotating EA/CA every second is not only tiresome, but inefficient.
You base almost everything around Kridershot and then NOT use its most obvious advantage.
At this point with a few adjustments about HG any 2H weapon would do the job - not to mention how easy it is to obtain a good one vs. a decent Kridershot -
Picking NS is also waste of a passive slot while you can generate simply by EA spam.
You CAN'T burst down an elite pack, unless you play rank 37 greater rifts. L2P dude. This is the last time I am ever writing anything to you, because you are like a radio and I don't argue with the radio!
P.S. Just stop sharing your precious info. All you do is mislead the ones that are even worse than you.

I'm still messing around with Krider, been trying to put something together with ball lightning/meticulous bolts + krider, but you'll need a lot of toughness. I think the defensive sentry + shadow power/gloom may be sufficient as it'll be more of an in your face build.
The troll has a point meathead, giving up on cull the weak is inexcusable! If you really need the slow just polar station or templar (solo) will be much more damage.
I've been following diablo fans since the beginning of RoS and if there is one thing on this forum I found useful are meatheads videos, ok maybe he does not make perfect ideas every time but overall it is useful so I think if someone thinks he is misleading people worse than him maybe he should make some video of his own to help those poor people ? Come on dude
^ Yes, I also suggested he make some of his own content to share since clearly everything I do is so awful, to which the response was 'I don't have time'. You see, it's a lot easier to troll than it is to actually contribute, but I think the majority have figured it out by now.

Funny thing bro, gr 50 on ptr is gr 40 live, with better gear. Its all L2P till 55, for every class. By the way great vid, way to kill that wall.
Thanks to the op for posting findings, he's entitled to his opinion and that's all this stuff is at this point. Nerds need to chill.
Still, saying rotation CA and EA is ineffective is simply wrong. You won't ever burst down an elite pack at a proper difficulty, so rotating them to keep up the slow is pretty obvious. No point to even argue about that.
Also I have a question since I didn't follow D3 stuff in the past weeks, is this likely to be the best build after the patch (with Kridershot I mean) or just a possible build?
At this point, not sure if it'll really be a CA/EA build. I think there will be a set of builds revolving around high aps and EA only with either Calamity or Krider (fire or meticulous) or possibly a multishot build.

That's not a close comparison at all. On PTR, here are the main differences, accounting for significantly higher grift completion:
1) Tons of Ancient items dropped during the buff and all crafted items currently roll Ancient. So everyone has Ancient gear. You won't have it nearly as quickly once the patch hits.
2) Conduits stealth buffed (until next PTR patch), M6 will still probably get tweaked, Raekors stealth buffed.
Yes, I agree it'll be easier to get into higher tiers, but not as quickly as what you're currently seeing. Health scaling of monsters is the same as it always has been, but their damage output has been reduced from 13% to 10% per tier.

Kirdershot turning EA into a hatred generator is just too powerful of an effect for their NOT to be a constellation of builds around it. I disagree about the abilities you have with it though. Cull the weak is still extremely easy to apply, just make sure that there is at least one sentry closer to the mobs than you, and then your arrow should always hit after they have a chill up. If you arent planning on applying a chill somehow, do you also plan on dropping bane of the trapped? It just seems like so much easy free damage that I cant imagine what set of passives that would contribute more. This seems like an L2play issue more than anything else.
That said, I think the rest of the build looks pretty solid. I think m6 is going to come down to this with bombadeirs vs spines and whatever weapon goes best with it (im excited to try nat's 4pc with it! but hellrack is probably going to be BiS)

Again, Cull The Weak/BoTT will only work if you chill EVERY second, meaning you have to either rotate EA/CA (aka spam 1-2-1-2 or whatever bindings), OR you play in a group setting where there's already cc (monk/sader/doc).
As for Bane of the Trapped, with the recent changes to grifts in PTR, you'll have elites a lot more frequently, meaning Bane of the Powerful will be up 100% of the time. And before people come in here and say 'but trapped is multiplicative, powerful is additive' ... do the math first. In SOME cases trapped is better, in SOME cases powerful is better. It really depends on the rest of your gear and skills and gem ranks.

That's why you use polar station. Place one sentry on top of the mobs, the others further away. They cover a pretty big radius. You would lose the spitefire rockets (240% weapon damage with ballistics) but 20% more damage fro Cull + ~30% from trapped will more than make up for it.

It's always nice to get another opinion on builds that's similar to your own. I think meat head makes very contributing vidieos as well.

A nice chart to show how much softer things are hitting on the ptr.
Meat > krig. Now thats trolling
