    Doubt that it was a bug, they just don't want SC monk 2.0 next season. Either way glad they clarified on that so we can move on in other directions. I should clarify, I doubt HF was actually a bug, there are several instances of 'first hits' that result from a button push, when you equip/cube FoTF you're multi sourcing a multi source proc. Fire walkers/Nightmare are def bugs though.

    *Snapshot is unavoidable in some instances, I got one twice in each of the 85's I completed and had to drop it as soon as my pot came off cool down, which is fairly easy for a melee build such as this.*

    Any sort of data to show element not affecting thorns? I can't record so I wouldn't have proof either way but I'm not inclined to believe anyone in this sub forum regarding something like that with no evidence. No offence, but this doesn't tend to be the most technical sub forum or class. We've had some really active trolls in here in the past, tons of p400 hero's who will tell you all about the game and mechanics while being very misinformed.;


    The reason I'm on about that is at one time physical damage did affect thorns damage. Didn't matter that it wasn't tied to 'skill', Pain Enhancer isn't a 'skill'either it's proc and is modified by phys. Also note the leaderboards, many people in the top 50 have phys% damage in several spots on gear. In some cases you can see that the item equipped may not be 'choice' and they're using for the LoN buff, but others appear to be stacking it.

    There was as of last night a top 10 or 15 player using convention of elements as well, stacking with LoN. Even though I can't record I can see a very strong damage difference when I run Invoker6-coe and phys% rolls around,

    APS only affects the stacking for Invoker set, I'm trying to get to the point where I can go over 20 stacks single target, probably need over 2 aps for that though.


    Thorns was classed as 'physical element' has that been disabled?

    I've been tweeting John Yang over the last few days trying to get an answer regarding bugged corpse spiders damage for Spirit of Arachyr set as well as the two piece not being affected by the 6set equip.     It was why I was asking about LoN to be honest, if you put the damage from the condemn leg weps together with that set and use the off piece legs to further boost toughness you may be able to get away with not using unity, meaning you could go ORZ or COE in cube for more damage/better toughness than the set is giving currently.

    Gr 65 on live isn't that bad, I've got a 67 or 68 down with no unity on my wd. My barb is clearing 65's, too much yolo snapshotting or I'd be equal my wd in clear level. That barb as 17m toughness, no defensive gems of any kind and no defensive passives. Just unity and the 4 pc wastes set with blood funnel for survival.

    Gr 65 on ptr with the nerfs should be easier then that no? Not trying to be a jerk I've gotten my character copy done on ptr but thats about it.


    Screen shots of your character on ptr Tom? I'm curious as to what your toughness/recovery numbers look like, but it may be better to drop the akkhan set and just use LoN around some condemn/defensive supporting legs.

    You can stop ww for a moment, take some loss recast ww and pot for the snap. Be careful how you do this, naturally you don't attempt it whilst standing in arcane or something similar, but it can be easy to get caught off guard in a swarm.

    Or people could learn to manage mana around focus/restraint primary/WOD spam and use actual damage passives so as to not dead weight group in a 'dps' build.

Gems are Eso/Trapped/Stricken. Jinx is used before natio always in this variation, so that you make the hitbox of monsters about to be pulled as tiny as possible for Corpse Bomb.


    In semi optimal speed groups having CR slotted as a passive isn't an issue, monk/barb group buffs combined with actually watching what you are doing will provide the damage reduction needed, Eso is always an option in either build and jinx makes for a very handy damage stop/group buff. Not as strong as BBV:SD.

    Trip attack isn't 100% chance to stun on hit, so it may not go anywhere. Furnace affix on the flense or vice versa perhaps. I'd say blood brother affix on furnace for bash would be something I'd like to try out.


    If trip attack doesn't get changed then that 50% elite damage with a sweep build would be a good boost, obisdian ring effect along with unity/coe for more akkarat's uptime w/o having to use a generator (looks like those still suck) or F/R.


    I'm not thrilled with the amount of notes crusaders have right now as opposed to the other classes though, new set looks underwhelming compared to rolands, but better than akkhan. No updates to core mechanics/passives, I understand cube but cube shouldn't be a bandage for the amount of finishing crudaders still need on a core level. Wrath gen still needs to be looked at, shield bash animation lock out, Falling Sword connect time are all still going to be issues. A new belt/set/ring are only going to highlight the need for core tuning(again) for falling sword as bash needs tuning. Hope for the best prepare for very little, even though its supposed to be a patch for wd,sader,monk I have a feeling only wd/monk come out of this shining.

    I've got a non ancient cloak with dex.1.50 hate per sec/ Rov, and it makes hatred management very smooth for 2:1 or 3:1. Works so well that I can use Focused mind and forgo archery with proper rotation management.

    This series would have been "progression" in season one, as it stands all that is really happening is a series of uploads/links to your you tube channel showcasing how inefficient solo gr key running really is. This isn't progression, no group play, no upgrading of items and low rift levels. In point of fact when condemn was actually the main stay for crusaders the gems for soft core were Mir,Trapped and usually Taeguk. Usually.Passives were long arm/holy cause, indy , HS, Finery. Leorics was questionable and sometimes necessary in lieu of a holy soj with either natural socket or a perfect cdr roll.


    What I'm getting at is even when this particular build was a progression build the information here in would not be the best route to go at all, and its been fairly common knowledge that solo farming in any setting is horribly inefficient. I'm having a hard time with it being labeled and defended as a "Progression" thread when it looks like an inaccurate history piece. I'm not attacking the op but this isn't something that adds any depth to the crusader class sub forum. Quite the opposite.
