How many new specs do DH get now in 2.2 and season 3 ?
6p marauder cluster arrow still the top spec ?
Or is the new set and natalya more than viable for 40-46 ish ?
Having a hell of a time finding a class for season 3 but dont want to be stuck with the same specs we have been using the last season. Like marauder 6p, firebird. Raekor and so on.
also. A little off topic. Wizard got other specs than firebirds now ?
Ive done 50+ with nats, UE and M6 all 3 solo on PTR. UE6 looks like it has the highest potential output of the 3 sets but the survivability that comes with Nats is pretty insane.
Its tough to be bad at nats. Unfortunately they are nerfing it. The reason nats was so successful is that the majority of the damage came from the 3000-4000% dmg proc on the belt every time you cast ROV, and with icy trails strafe you could basically spam ROV allowing you to stack toughness on every single armor slot and not worry about offensive stats at all except for on jewelry. They are fixing the bug however that allows icy trail to proc the set bonus multiple times per cast which means that UE6 will be far superior damage wise. Whats going to be interesting is to see how marauders does using focus/restraint. If sentries gain the benefit of the dmg buffs from bastiones will then M6 in all likelihood will be all alone at the top of the leader boards again.
...Its going to hurt it tremendously, your essentially proccing the set bonus 3X as much as you should be with how it is currently. When this is fixed the damage from the belt goes down by 3X and the amount you can CC gos down by 3X. So your losing your primary source of damage. Strafe does not hit hard at all maybe 150 mill with Bastions will. Compare this to UE6 where MS crits for 600 million and the rockets hit for 2 billion.
as much as i grew fond of the revamped M6 playstyle (at first i opposed it), i hope the new ones are just as good, if not better to offer some refreshing playstyle
though i'm honestly not a huge fan of Blizzard dictating the build to play (ie. Sentries with Marauders, RoV with Natalyas, now Multishot with UE) in order to be competitive:(
What do you mean no one has geared UE properly? What would you change? IAS instead of dex? crit and crit dmg are mandatory on jewelry as is a socket, this means you can re-roll only your primary stat for IAS or RCR. Weapon is literally the only slot for a DPS stat where there are options, you either go 10% rcr or 7% ias. How do you figure people are gearing it wrong?
Can anybody please share their vision on which spec is (promisingly) best for early 40s GR in hardcore season 3?
UE seems really appealing to me playstyle-wise, but the factor of standing close to targets threatens quite a bit. Or is Natalia's Strafe and RoV better optimised in terms of survivability+dps combination in grifting?

I'm looking forward to trying out Nat's in s3 but I'll probably collect a marauder set just in case I don't like it or am horribly bad at it.

Season 7 Hardcore Demon Huntard #14 @ GR78
Unhallowed Essence Multishot Guide
Pretty much any build in the game will be able to do 40-45 in 2.2, it will no longer be an achievement i'm afraid.

Mostly solo player here.
