No need to generate a separate topic, so I'll drop this here. Would appreciate your, guys, feedback and advice on the 3 short questions below.
I'm playing HC and start to climb higher on GR. I feel quite comfortable within 35-40 break in solo, but quite inconfident in going further. I believe my gear is not bad (however I made a huge mistake by rolling 600 STR into higher on Hellfire instead of higher CHD). However, each time i'm doing group GR around 45+ like every third GR i see people die (DH mostly, but Crus, Monks (NOT zdps) as well), which looks a bit demoralising
1) First question is: assuming my gear how far can I 'somewhat safely' go in solo? 45? or even 48? Obviously I'm asking specifically gear-wise. Assume that I'm fully aware of how and when to Rend, know the avoidable and bad stuff from mobs/affixes/GR abilities. I can switch CoE for Unity in solo to run with Scoundrel (sadly didn't find any immortal relic on templar or sorc). Additionally, when in solo I usually run 'Bloodbath' Rend.
2) Once I find immportal relic, I'll equip templar with lighning dmg Eun-jang-do and wyrdward i have in stash. Do I need Dovu Energy Trap in order to stun GR? Or will the wyrdward procs be able to stun GR without Dovu?
3) What are your thoughts on changing Diamonds in pants to 2xRubies?
