I decided to make a new toon, to see how the leveling would go once the Crusader was released. This game has become a lot more fun on the leveling grind. Im currently level 45, havent even finished Act 1 yet. Its so nice to know that you dont have to replay the game over and over to get to level 60 anymore. Its fast, its fun, and its nice actually going slow and checking out every nook and cranny in each zone. It feels like the old diablo for once. Definitely loving this patch.....except for Odeg, F that guy!
Anyway, I've been preaching the same thing since I got on the PTR - the new leveling experience is the real gem of 2.0.1. I just started a new DH on Expert and it's going well so far - paragon points and diamonds are sooo sooo powerful early on I feel guilty using them.
I'm probably going to switch to playing Hardcore almost exclusively thanks to this revision - I was diehard HC in D2 but D3 was just too boring on Normal and NM for me to put up with it.
I may spin up a Monk on HC for the first time due to this patch. Can't wait to get off work!
The new Dashing Strike is the bee's knees, as the kids say. Also check out the 2nd generator, that punches in a trident-shape. I can't remember the name of it, but it feels really good now.

Deadly reach? I love it, it's what I was using in the Beta for most of it... felt like I was the only one lol. Hand of Ytar on lashing tail kick is fun too (Who doesn't want to be a little Ion cannon?!!?)

not QUITE starting fresh, but I've had a mage sitting at level 15 for... Well since about a week after release and I played around with him a bit on the PTR and... Yeah when 2.0 dropped, he was the first char I logged on to
leveling is SO awesome now compared to in D3V, between loot2.0 (love dem 100% boss kill legendaries :p) and Paragon 2.0 I'm BLASTING through master diffuculty, destroying all in my path with what I'm calling my "War Wizard" spec (melee range wiz, using Spectral Blades and ALL THE SHIELDS)
I think I may have to go HC... The question is... Do I do it now, or wait and make a HC Crusader?

45 levels in act 1? Say what?
Probably on Master, or even Torment I. Expert makes you about 30 end of Act I, and (in my experience) 60 or damned close by Diablo, in one pass. Master should have you 60 pre-Diablo. Don't have a feel for the Torment leveling curve, as it's not my 'fun' play area. YMMV.
Ya, dinged 60 about half way through Act 2. Most of the last 15 levels was on Torment 2 or 1, but earlier on, Torment 5 was easy enough with some high level gems etc. The leveling sure did go fast!

Word. I'll have to give it a shot with my new monk (hardcore). Been playing on Hard, but even keeping up with crafted gear makes it rather easy. I'll have to bump it up and see how it works out.

I can't wait to roll a crusader though
