Hey guys, i just want to say that i´ve been playing a lot on the ptr server, i haven´t been invited to the closed beta of RoS, still i´ve been very busy on the PTR server trying to adapt myself to the changes and practicing builds and combinations, finally i manage to deal torment difficulty 4 and 5 with my vanilla sets and items, takes me an eternity to kill elites but after a longg time hitting the mobs and dying a few times a got them... the thing is that couriouslly i noticed that the loot its inexistent at least for items, i just collect gold and gold and gold, but there are no items on the flor for me, not even blue ones or white.... i have read a lot of articles on this forum that precisly talk about the amounts of gold % along with xp and mf, even if the values dont appear you can felel the difference when you pick up the gold, but i was just wondering if is it just me the one with very very very bad luck or if blizzard makes this on porpuse just to test de torment difficulty as is it "very hard" but no rewards in exchange as only for gold..
Thx alot for reading and pardon my english but im latin besides i think you get the idea. of what im trying to say.. cheers m8s
You are correct that the drops are not great, you are better off playing Normal as the drops are the same (sad but true) but the good news is that the drop rate and self found loot is almost exactly where Blizzard wants them to be barring a little tweaking as stated in the latest post by Travis Day (eyes roll).
We the people have repeatedly said that the rewards are not great but what do we know.
To be a bit more constructive if they up the drop rate of legs to be a bit more competitive with gambling on Beta (or better....as it should be) and more chance of getting mats. The mats they are working on which is good, but I feel that their sense that the drop rate is at the 50%-100% ball park area is not quite true because the game as logic dictates feels unrewarding at the moment.
And experience gained is painfully slow at level 60, maybe that will change at ROS launch.
50-100% is still a large margin. If it's 100%, then that's doubling the drop rate. 50%, which seems to be the minimum they will adjust by, still means quite a big jump in drop rate. So, Travis day's post should not be read as "Drop rates are fine", but rather,"we are close, but will probably be tweaked by somewhere between 50-100%".

Well that is good but on PTR it does not show the % increase in description of level and I have not heard about how often legs drop in T1 and higher. Also I like a good fight but 2 hours to kill a monster is not what I call fun.

It's not tied to MF so no, no % is shown. The base drop of Legs are just higher on Torment and each slider tick even higher. It doesnt take much to kill on T1 btw.
well to being honest i can live with the fact that legendary drops are low but yellows and blue items?....... i thought i was gonna be exited cause in torment i would find items with 1500 dps at least ... but happens that nothing happened hehehhe, i realy hope they´ll fix that, otherwise im starting to think my already 60 bucks are gonna be a bad investment, still im a fan and gamer so i expect reactions and actions in order to balance that, im aware that we still have an entire month to fix issues so we should post complains in the forums to manifest our unconformity.
Diablo is starting to feel like when vanilla version came out and nobody could pass from act 1 on inferno mode... a bit frustrating....
The drop rates are only the same outside of Torment. Torment grants higher legendary drop rate and each torment level even higher.
BTW I dont know why you even bother with T5 or T6 its just completley inefficient as it just takes too long to kill.
thats not the point the point isn´t efficiently directly in this thread cause even to farm xp on those levels its unffective, as i said i was just testing with the vanilla gear i have, still my point its that even yellow items should be better than in normal but instead you got noghing but gold.... useless for me..
I can only handle Torment 1, but I find tons of yellows there - much more than compared to the other difficulties. Less blues and whites, for sure. So, my experience has been totally different than yours, at least as far as that goes.

i got the same experience that you on torment 1 - 2 even but in torment 3-4-5-6 defenetly its a big difference on the drop... as some said in this forum diablo its an arpg game and killing monsters should be the best regarding thing in the game... well in my opinion killing mobs its part of reaching the ending game part witch primary maybe not but in second plane should be gratificant killing a mob for about 20 or 10 minutes to get 5k gold .... i dont think so for me its far from being part of the endgame, if you add that to the lack of content, pvp practically inexsistence, seems that the entire developing team its on a rush for fighting to get the game out soon but on a really hard pressure..
In my personal experience as administrator rush take us some times to mediocre content in our works or lets not use that word, lets use poor content, a shame for such an exiting game franchise. i really hope blizzard makes the really hard efforts to work this out, ive seen videos of kongor, and moldran talking about the game experience when they literally say " if you are a casual game you will love it, but if you dont you will get bored same thing told by kripparrian... a few months ago" so lets not forget that diablo should be developed or intended to be design for all kind of gamers no matters if you are casual or a serious gamer... as log as is it fun and makes our money worth it after all Money its the issue that moves any company or industry and no matter how you disguise it (marketing) the primary goal its to make more money.
I'm sure it's not the intention that you find less as the difficulty increases. It's probably a bug of some sort, and obviously worth pointing out, but there's no need to go on about how it'll be the death of the franchise.
And on a side note, I really don't understand why anyone cares what streamers think about the game. These people put in thousands of hours into a game where you click on monsters until they pop, their opinion is warped. There's an English saying, "You can't see the forest from the trees." It means when you are so into something that you are obsessing over the individual little parts and you can't appreciate the big picture. For all the bashing guys like Kripparian handed out, I still played something like 300 hours before I'd had my fill.
may you are right bro, honestly i also look over other places a practical response to my frustration, it seems that you need to have a lot of damage on your character, in order of kill a single mob in one strike, that makes more sense to me, the fast you kill and the big mob areas are in a single wave the most chance you have to get items ... i made a feedback research in the old posts of the blizzard forums, as for the streamers comments, maybe its because some of us get to feel the sanation that they are pro gamers at least thats the idea they bend on us. so maybe i over reacted a little but not everything its bad, still love the game, still im a fan and thinking in the best possitive way ill try get fun at the time the game comes out.. cheers!

That's what I like to hear.
