I've always found the best shit in vases/barrels etc.. from d1, d2, and now...... but now, its worthless.. after breaking about 500 urns today and making about 5k gold and no items from them, there's no point in doing anything now but running around finding 5 champ packs, just to have decent chance at anything, IF anything...
and i think to myself, if they keep removing goblins and golden chest, there is gonna be a point when you start a game and finish it and you will have only seen one of them?
They'll probably make it so you have to "clear" a full act to get a chance at anything..... 8 hour games of BORING....
Luckily haven't I used any of these loopholes or whatever you want to call it. Only have a monk level 59 in Act 3 Hell so I didn't need to farm for gear. I would actually prefer to farm whole acts rather than redoing the exact same parts over and over and over again...the whole point of the Nephalem Valor and end game farming was to redo whole acts or do any part of an act with the same chances of getting good loot, not to farm certain areas with loopholes.

Wow.... it is so remarkably sad that you would rather run around smashing urns than kill monsters......
Why they remove stuff like this. its a freaking farm game....
Yes, I'm sure blizzard intent was that people go around killing vases for hours on end.
This is just a proof that the game is BROKEN. Diablo is all about farming stuff vases or not. They are removing all the fun from the game and it's intentional for their preicous RMAH.
It's actually not, because the developers have said over and over that they don't intend for players to farm pots and other objects over and over again. I'll go with their opinion on what the game is about since, you know, they created it.
I'm surprised no one here has mentioned bots yet. The main reason why blizz is nerfing the pots in the royal crypts is because Bot's are farming them for 12 hours or more, getting ~10 mil gold or more per day. Am I the only one who knows this?
Hard to kill monsters when they are so strong that you cant kill them whitout good gear (That you to 90% obtain from AH)
Funny that I can progress just fine without buying gear.
But then again, I'm not lazy and farm my own gear.
Its not that im lazy its becuse i and many others have children work etc, Guys and girls like you (I guess you are not working) can sit home and play all day long whitout anything to worry about.
I'm 42, with four kids and a job, and I'm able to farm my own gear. So, farm at your own pace and quit insisiting that the game has to be nerfed to your level.
If you read the patch notes, they specifically stated acts in which the urns/vases gold drops were nerfed (Act I/III), I believe.
Look at it from Blizzard's standpoint. If such a small % of the D3 community is in Inferno, and an even smaller number are the ones farming urns/vases, then nerfing it in order to stymie the gold farmers and keeping the value of gold intact is a worthwhile move.
I won't lie. I spent over 100k gold buying GF gear from the AH last week. I also ended up making over a million gold farming Royal Crypts while casually farming over a 3-day period. If you didn't see this coming, well... I don't know about you then..

He's still there and no, his gold drop amount hasn't been touched so ignore those that say otherwise, I'm still getting between 3 - 10k a run.
You aren't ready for that act.

RG's Youtube Channel a great source for Diablo III Video Tutorials, Tips, Tricks, and overall OWNAGE!

Not finding this to be true. Any evidence?
