To me, I think DH aren't going to be affected by this as much as they hoped. DH rely on mostly +crit stuff. IAS is great for them, but not nearly as much as +crit. The real losers to this nerf are the monks. So far, the only reason monks are surviving inferno is because of a combination of IAS+LoH. WDs are also gonna take a decent hit from this (splinter builds)...wizards somewhat because more IAS=more spells being cast. Barbs...don't really know too much about them.
TL;DR -- feels like a monk nerf :/
I could be wrong about this though, so if someone wants to add on to what i'm saying or correct it, speak up please.
As a DH myself the only thing ive heard from other demon hunters on improving my gear is "get IAS" "get IAS" "stack IAS". this nerf will definitly affect demon hunters as well. And it should, there shouldn't be a stat other than maybe dexterity that I should be required to load up on in order to be on par with other players.

Blizzard used to care about releasing Diablo III, then they all took an arrow in the knee...
Yeah, I don't think it was to balance any class. I think it was to even out the importance of stats.
See, I think Jay got burned in D2 and made too many gimped characters because he didn't follow the guide and use the one correct "customized" stat allocation, and is really really in love with the idea that all stats should be important, and no one stat should be all important to stack (so, stacking vit should be a viable, albeit different, way to progress as to stacking IAS, or Int, etc).
See, I think Jay got burned in D2 and blahblahblah
A brief reminder as to why people prefer exciting or controversial conspiracy theories over mundane and simple truth: When my lvl 59 ring with 66int/15%ias nets more damage than my A4 150int/14-28dmg/80vit/socket ring, attack speed may need a looking at. IAS gets pretty ridiculous up here past 2300int.

IAS for wizards seems to, in my mind (and from my experience) be very build dependent. The faster your attack speed is, the faster you will run out of AP, which will ultimately increase the amount of time before you can unleash another flurry of powerful spells.

I'm thinking since health and damage of mobs is being tinkered with a little too, it will sort of even out for the better for everyone.
