after 3-4 weeks of crying in the forums it will be nerfed anyways how do i know? just one example: World of Warcraft
This isnt an mmo, and this isnt a game where its designed so "everyone can play".
They know most players will beat normal and be done. Inferno is for the hardcore players (... harcore as in.. well not the mode >_>)
I doubt this will be nerfed (unless of course NO ONE can beat it =P)
Should also point out, I think there will be direct nerfs AND buffs in some spots. Im sure some parts will be way harder than they wanted, and some will be to easy .... but im not seeing a full out nerf all over inferno.
lol so much for a billion viable builds. This confirms you will need cookie cutter builds in inferno
It confirms you will probably need to go for more balanced builds, thats all. Taking 6 skills you can barely used together for example, is just an obvious bad build, and Inferno will tell you "no".
The reason WoW got nerfed was due to players NOT able to see new content or end game content.
In Diablo 3, you see all of that already in normal. There is no reason for them to nerf inferno because you've seen it all, now its there for a challenge.

There may or may not be some cookie cutter builds, but I highly doubt they'll always be the best builds, and especially not for every situation. I can assure you that there will be builds that work awesome playing alone, and other builds that work way better when in groups, and even more builds that work better depending on WHAT your group comp is, and what act or mobs you're fighting.
A lot of people have been trying to come up with builds they like, but in reality I can easily see myself swapping between several different builds depending on if I'm soloing or in a group, and depending on which of my friends I'm currently playing with.

why would they release expansion packs with more acts and another difficulty
lmao, u will all see that it is either 1. not that hard as they say or 2. they nerf it because of too many whiners
i dont give a fuck if u believe me or not, but u will see anytime soon that im right
u wont admit that im right because else ur hype and ur hope that devs are right will be broken
just wait and see
Inferno is current Level +1;
Xpac raises level cap to 80... increases the max and min difficulties on the others.
Normal + Act 5 = Levels 1-40.
Nighmare + ACt 5 = 41 - 67;
Hell + Act 5 = 68 - 80;
Inferno = Level cap + 1 - Level Cap + 3;
this is what happens when you feed stray animals... as to the OT, i'm pretty good but not great, played plenty of D2, and i've maintained all along that i hope i won't be able to beat inferno either at all, or for a long time. They don't owe anybody fairness with a 4th difficulty level in the game. make it brutal, make it unfair, who cares. i'll enjoy the hell out of all the rest of the content, and the crazy challenge of trying to survive in inferno.
anyway just to clear up that one debate. Yeah that was a massive horrible lazy translation error. They said -MAY- not. They dont know if they will increase level cap.

just one example: World of Warcraft
Last time I checked DIABLO III is being released on May 15th. Let me double check to make sure the box doesn't say World of Warcraft.
It definitely says Diablo III.
Your logic makes as much sense as this statement:
After 3-4 weeks of provocation and stressful words, the Al-Qaeda will fly a plane into another build.
Just one example: WTC
As to the poster above: Oh no, we can't use 1,000 builds more builds out of the 2 billion. -sob-

Most WoW nerfs were to balance PvP issues...
