By the look of things it should make you able to encounter a large amount of enemies and still get away with a decent amount of HP/mana left. Also this seems rather good for PVP actually!

Defensive, tank-like monk build. Using alot of CC skills to survive even on inferno. This monk will have high dodge numbers. For caster enemies this monk use "One With Everything" passive skill - raise only one resistance must be not so hard. Dont have "Near Death Experience" passive skill because this build not predisposes near death situations =)
Wizard build using magic missile as an energy builder, arcane orb as the standard room clearer for easier sections, meteor for areas needing a bit more oomph. Force push to clear things from around you, familiar to give your damage that little bit extra and energy armour for those times when it is impossible not to be hit.
Monk:
I could bore you with an in depth discussion of each selection.....or i could just say that this plays like Jackie Chan! (CQC + Dodge + Increased DMG)
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#QZVXdg!ZeU!YZcbYa this is a pvp monk. the idea is to use way of the hundredfist to generat spirit, dashing strike to reach the enemy, crippling wave to improve damage as well breath of heaven. for heal too. and finishim with seven sided strike. and some passive an mantra of evasion for resist damage and control. i hope you like it.bye
I present to you, DiabloFans.com, The Crowdplower, a Barbarian build dedicated to the slaughter of hordes of zombies.
This highly mobile build forgoes the use of primary and secondary attacks in favor of Overpower and Revenge for area effect goodness. The build relies on increasing critical hit chance as much as possible in order to reset the cooldown on Overpower as often as possible.
Attack priority for optimizing damage:
> 100% uptime on Battle Rage
> Wrath of the Berserker on cooldown (or situationally for tough encounters)
> Revenge if available and if "Best Served Cold" buff is not up or self-healing is required
> Overpower
> Revenge if available
> Leap Attack / *Furious Charge (situationally)
I included the Merciless Assault rune with Furious Charge to have something that can deal damage repeatedly in the inevitable unlucky event that every other skill is on cooldown.
This build will dramatically lose effectiveness against single targets.
Just a build that I thought would be fun (chain lightning, disintegrate, blizzard and archon!). It has a good mix of strong offense and strong defense, which will hopefully create a balanced build for more difficult content.
Here is a link to my Witch Doctor build for D3. This build is for PvE and the idea behind it is to keep my Witch Doctor away from the battle as much as possible. I'll let the zombie dogs and gargantuan do the up close and personal work, while I stand back launching firebombs and locust swarms. I don't know if it's the best build, but it's the one I'm most excited to play with.
This build combines two of my favorite things: summons and more summons! I also try to include some poison for the joy of ticking damage and some good survivability.
This is my solo witch doctor build that will hopefully work well in the later levels of the game...I prefer the characters with pets, using the necromancer a lot in D2. I like the thought of utilizing both the zombie dogs and gargantuan together, with my witch doctor tossing firebombs imbued with the pyrogeist rune. I can't wait to give this build a shot!
Hopefully I am lucky enough to be selected for one of the beta keys in a little bit, so I can check out the early action in the game!
It seems as though the splitting elemental arrows will be awesome. That mixed with the ebola shots will give this build tons of aoe. The sentry and wolf will be used for additional dps. The other spells will be used for survivability, making this build the best one in D3.
Basically I was going for a mass summon build, nostalgia summon necromancer, idea behind it is to have as many minions as possible up the whole time. PvE focused.
"Pull them together, and AOE!" - Unknown Raid Leader
I'm not sure this build is viable anywhere in the game, but it's sure fun! It's got aoe, then some more aoe, but most importantly, it has beasts that do aoe for you! And rockets, because those are sooo Diablo. http://eu.battle.net...RTPk!ebh!aZcZZZ
I made this build for Barbarian dungeon grinding. It has lots of mobility and healing, as well as potential for massive AoE. Hammer of the Ancients grants strong single damage. Most of the AoE comes from Cleave and Whirlwind, both have runestones for extra damage. Leap Attack can be used to either escape from a fight gone wrong, or charge right into battle. Threatening Shout is a good skill with this build because it reduces incoming melee damage by 25%, which is a good thing because Barbarians are melee characters. All in all, this build will allow you to whip through dungeons safely, and effectively.
I will admit before I link my intended build, I haven't really studied everything as much as it seems others have. My build is for a Demon Hunter and is selected for PvE, and focuses on getting the most damage out of hitting as many targets as possible. I will be playing with a friend who more than likely will play a Barbarian, so I kept that in mind as well.

This is my AOE Monk farming build, because winning Diablo 3 is all about making the most $$$.

A not so final PvE and PvP Monk build and will transfigure as the game levels.

It more than likely sucks, and I'm sure I will adjust it 150 thousand times before launch as I read more and study more.
