Hey! Bashiok! Could you please ask the Diablo 3 crew to add some DirectX 10 ass-kicking features? PLEAAASSEEEEEE...:cute:
Could you also tell them it would be good for their lives not to include guns in the game?
Thank you!
I'm still waiting for Diablo 3 news!
A new trailer would be nice!
hmmmm maybe you should post this in the news thread made about it? or maybe on the D3 forums?

come to think of it....you dont even need him to answer this stuff.....there are no guns, its gonna run in XP so DX10 isnt required(maybe it will have DX10 features who knows)
question was already asked: source (new dev tracker feature here on diablofans.)
if you have any questions that could be answered by bashiok you have to go to the diablo 3 forums from their website http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/
also, i think it was said that hes not responding to questions directly asked to him. something about he'll post in the thread if he wants but wont if you try asking him like its a 1 on 1 chat.
yeah, one of the videos they specifically said that DirectX 10 and the next gen DirectX 11 will not be required in order to play the game. In other words, it will be playable on WinXP.
The only thing that I've seen implemented in the Vista-only DirectX driver (dx10) is the god rays. And it took a hell of a lot of work for the Crysis guys and the Age of Conan guys to make that happen.

My five-point rating system: Yay, Kay, Meh, Erm, Gleh
And I know the light circle idea has been dragged to death and rejected; however, if lighting was dimmer further from the character and darkest behind the character to give a blindspot effect, that would also be cool.

They need to make certain areas that won't affect the game in any way for a player if they can't do it, but make certain areas that can only be effectively explored if you indeed have certain light radius levels.
Just an extra feature that can be added to make Light Radius more useful and remain an element of the gameplay.
That would be awesome.
