No i don't, and you don't either, so stop assuming this and that. I have seen the content and you have seen the content, at this point this is what D3 looks like.
You should really look up video interviews on the subject of the art. The art directors says that the game Dose get progessivly darker and grittier as you progress. I'd give you a link to it if I could remember which one it was since I've seen like 50 videos in the past 2 days.
And didnt in Act 1 diablo started pretty gruesome. Even if it was just 20minutes of the start of the game I expected more blood everywhere but you didnt see that. I did like that first boss. I just hope that perhaps they havnt decided if corpses and blood should stain the walls I hope they decide to change that because I think it would greatly change the feeling of the game to something more along the lines of D2 where corpses and blood stayed put.
I agree about the gargoyle entirely. My biggest worry, though, is that they don't understand what the work dark means in regards to mood.
yeah, you know because that's such an advanced concept to understand.. and obviously blizzard is incapable of evoking a dark mood in their games. Hence D1 and D2.
What makes you think they haven't created some of the darkest, most frightening dungeons in the whole Diablo series in this new game? because of one dungeon and a sunny forest?
Look at the topic title, read what you've originally written - it was hardly about "Blizard listening to feedback". Back on topic.
For crying out loud! None is "against the color", we'd like Blizzard to utilize better color scheme.
It's the World of Sanctuary, it's gloomy by sheer definition.
The title is taken directly from their article I wrote that people should read and let it sink in that had an issue with the graphics, I didn't specifically quote it right out because I figured people would read the article first, but sorry for giving you a bit of credit ahead of time. Will revise next time so it's a bit easier for you to find in the article.

Well lets compare the dungeon they showed to the monastery. There were tables of beheaded people and blood spattered everywhere through out that place and stuff like that was consistent from as soon as you started the game until you finished there was always corpses but the corpses just got more mutilated and gisgusting. The only real corpses we say in the trailer they disapeared 10 seconds later or the ones you could loot wern't blood or horrific in anyway besides just being on the ground. Thats why I get worried. I do admit that first boss was pretty cool seeing its lungs and stuff but I just expected more.

I didn't like this either. I want to impress myself with the hordes of dead bodies I have created. Not a game-breaker, and I am guessing about reducing polygons for rendering better environments, but I will miss it.

Would it be possible to just have an option-like a slider of the ammount of corpses on the ground? Im sure ive seen something like that in a game befor but I cant remember what game.

Cool, well you can go play helgate - LATER!!
Well see you with everyone else in line in a year when we are all waiting to buy this masterpiece and everyone realizes Keeth Lee is the next Rob Pardo LOLOL

It's funny that you would attack me when I am one of the people who thinks the graphics are fine if they don't change a thing.
And just for the fun of responding to your assumptions, I am a 31 year old married man with a 6 year old daughter. I work two jobs, one as an academic advisor at a university, and the other writing about video games.
People already need to get over it, this is a next-gen 3D game, it will not look like an eight years old game with crappy graphics, no way that's going to happen.
Blizzard have the VERY GOOD reasons for those changes, and those who don't like it should just ... you know what i want to say
Ya your going to say something insulting because you cant think of anything better to say and you cant stand someone not agreeing with you. Whats wrong with people simply not liking the atmosphere and wanting a change? I dont see whats so bad about that.
Sorry dude nothing personal, just maybe leave the desine ideas to the pros like Keeth OK THX?
LOLOL:cool:
Wow... you guys are turning on your self now... grrreat. Its his opinion and Im sure me and lots of other people would agree with him. Even pros can make mistake too and when it comes to game design I meen in a situation like this a "pro" would understand the value of the comsuner and change something like that if the masses would prefer it so he can make more money because more people who enjoy and buy it.

OK dude get youre name on a few games and well talk about it - theres a reason the pros get paid to do there job. Maybe you shoud reread the article, color isnt a bad thing! LOL

Well I did just graduate and need a job... I know color isnt a bad thing but so far around 17,000 people do. Also the guys on hellgate made Diablo and they screwed up so that kind of blows your whole argument to peices because in fact game developers make mistakes and can screw things up.

All right. Please help me understand what you are trying to say. Here in this very thread, which you have not read, I say that I am not about to contradict Keith Lee. Then I said it again in this very thread. Despite those two posts, you invite me to play another, inferior game, and leave this forum.
I don't know much about your life experience, but I'd like to try to introduce you to a new concept today: middle ground. You see, not all issues must be argued with polarity. While I will be just fine with Diablo III if it launches tomorrow with no graphical changes, there are also some areas I think could be improved.
My ability to see both sides of the issue seems to elude your view of a binary world. Things are not always on/off, black/white, yes/no. Sometimes there is a middle ground.
"And we really want to get as much feedback as possible so that we can improve on the game and ensure that we meet Blizzard quality for our fans and for ourselves as players.”
interesting quote, imo

"[Diablo1+2] obviously had the gothic look to it, but, you they weren't, they weren't very uh, very colorful games."
"We want to take dark as an emotion, rather than an actual color art choice." -Rob Pardo
"Why the hell shouldn't it be for 'kiddies', it's a goddamn game afterall." -lethlan
Well now you know how it feels to be on the other side of the fence, this is pretty much all we get to hear.
Personally i also think the graphics are fine, just not fitting in with Diablo, thats all.
Surely you can't mean you think it is okay for someone who does not make assumptions about other people, who treats them with respect and civility, to be treated unfairly. That would be like condoning thinking all people from Kehjistan are thieves just because you got robbed by one once.
Theatre Major ie: waiter in training

Do your own research before you make assumptions.

This is ironic to say when whiners cant stop whining about to much color! LOL
But seriusly dude just let Keeth do his job.
