Barb is pretty far down my list, but i'll have one eventually. Probably 1h/shield variety aswell since it'll be HC and slow n' steady will probably give me a chance to kill myself a bit less often.
Respec, no T. Basically, you have 6 active skills at a time, and you can swap them willy-nilly, with no cost whatsoever. I don't like it, because it removes specialization, and limits replayability (you only need to level one of each character for softcore and hardcore.) In my opinion, a gold cost for swapping skills in needed, so it dissuades you from choosing the best skills for a given situation and then swapping them back to the ones you had. One could argue that's not a problem, but I don't like it, so it's a problem to me :P.
Proletaria can explain why does he like it.
But let's not get off topic. I'd also like to try a spear/polearm barb, since those looked cool but weren't really viable in D2.
That's not a respect system, lol. That's the ability to swap skills out at any time, nothing is wrong with that. That's how guild wars worked except it was 8.

Again, no T in respec. Re-spec. Re-specialize. Choosing your abilities again. Not respecTT. No T. And there is something wrong with it.
I'm not coming up with another type of barb to keep this on topic.

Typo. I don't consider the freedom to be able to swap abilities in and out to be called a "respec" system. "Respec'ing" if you will implies to wipe a current setting and implicate a new one.
Anyway, I will DEFINATELY be playing Shield/Weapon as my "main spec" or "main build" if you will.
If I can go into a sword/board spec and /godmode then that sounds like a whole lot of fun and what i'll probably do.
Hard not to go straight up old school 2h whirlwind build though.
Probably a dual-weilding one.
Not really, no.
Maybe if you take off those sunglasses? They are pretty dark, how can you even see anything
EDIT: First time I read your sig. Quite funny.
What is the current respect system?

Because I have no need to make 10 witch doctors before I start my barb. =)
