I'm actually very satisfied with how WoL ended. It felt like it completed its part perfectly in the trilogy. I agree with arry, that all the real drama and crazy stuff will go down in HotS. I mean isn't that when all the crazy stuff happens in trilogies? "I am your father", "Gum wit me iv you won to liv", "Something's different... I can feel them" and who can forget "No, I know. You did send me back to the future. But I'm back, I'm back from the future.
But of course a lot of you make good points about not being able to play all the cool units, or use the cool upgrades in the multiplayer. I was shocked to find out that I couldn't build FIREBATS!! Really? Are you gonna do that to us Blizzard?
But yeah, I've almost finished the campaign for the second time. This time its on Hard, and I'm doing every single achievement. REALLY tough on some of them though. I'm about to head down to Char, and I've got everything upgraded, every MERC contract, and over 700,000 credits left over!
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

Kerrigan didn't die from the artifact because she was mostly human. If you listened to the guy talking about it in the last mission you would have heard that it was at a frequency that doesn't effect humans. So only the zerg in her was slain.
Um, I did pay attention to all that. What I'm saying is that it seems that with how powerful she was to control the Zerg and even regenerate (or seemingly reincarnate herself according to the last mission) that she wasn't just a Zerg infested human anymore but a true hybrid with all her human and Zerg parts now fully integrated. What I mean is, because she is so powerful and able to control so many Zerg, then with that power you shouldn't just be able to shut yourself off and go back to normal. Even if it is at the the whim of a powerful artifact. I'm not saying they didn't explain it in the story. I'm just saying I didn't like how the writers decided the nature of her infestation should be.
Raynor didn't want her dead, or hurt or slapped or anything because it wasn't her that did anything. The zerg took her. It was almost like she was just a vessel. She had nothing to do with the billions lost at her hand other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Oh come on. She had to have had SOMETHING to do with it all. I mean, did she really have no free will? No control over any of her actions? Cause it was still her making all the decisions for what to do with the Zerg. I'm just surprised this isn't bothering more people. Everyone seems perfectly satisfied that the reason she did all of these things was only because the Zerg in her MADE her do it. And sure, she would not have killed all the billions of people had she not become a Zerg, but what isn't it just more plausible that she was already something of an evil person, trying not to do bad things as a Ghost, but being compelled to anyway, and as a Zerg, she had so much power at her fingertips that whatever good was left in her was probably corrupted just on all that power alone, and not just cause she was part Zerg? And just cause I said I wished Raynor had smacked her around a bit, doesn't mean you all have to take that literally. Sheesh! The point I was making when I said that was that he didn't have to be so benevolent toward her either. He's carrying her out of the cave like, a little too lovingly. "Everything's gonna be alright, darlin'." This is his attitude. And I was just saying that yes, he can be all in love with her all he wants. But maybe he should still have a conscience about all that she did and seem kind of pissed off at all that she put him through.
I just can't believe so many of you are all, "Well she couldn't help it! It was the Zerg in her!" And if that Zerg in her was so influential enough to deprive her of any free will, then you'd kind of thing the infestation in her was so bad that the blast from the artifact would have killed her as she was so much infested. I don't know. I'm not saying that it seemed totally unrealistic or anything cause how can you say that about all this alien stuff. I'm just saying I'm surprised that more of you didn't raise your eyebrow at Raynor's total forgiveness toward Kerrigan. Remember how fucking annoying that bitch was in Brood Wars? Hell, even the original Starcraft? And all the things Raynor said to her about killing her one day. I know she's an important part of the story so she can't just die, but I seriously had blue balls from him not kicking her while she was down. And to make it all worse he had to carry her out like Jesus or something.
I was so sad about Tychus. That was a huge bummer.
God, I wasn't at all. He was so annoying. I mean, he can tear shit up without any regard to human life, kill waves and waves of people, but then he sees Kerrigan and he fucking fails miserably to put a bullet in her stupid face. All because he's enamored by her looks for a few distracting moments. It's okay though that he died. I was getting really sick of his Alabama southern white trash drawl.
And and to those of you who I added to my friend's list on Battle.net, you're either never on or you ignore my messages so I'm deleting your sorry asses.
Sorry my response is gonna be so short on these but I'm leaving in a few.
I see your points about Kerrigan but I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I get what your saying but the way they played out the story was perfectly fine with me.
And...You can add me!!! Pm me or something when to get on. I'll play with you!

Alright I'll add you. I kind of suck at multiplayer though so you might wish to just join me against the computer for now. I still am heart broken though over not being able to have all those cool units you got in the campaign.
edit: How annoying. I go to look up your information in the character ID thread and you haven't provided yours yet. Very, very annoying that I just did that.

There's actually no way for you to send messages over Bnet without them being on, which is retarded.
And pfft, you're never on when I'm on.

I'm about to head down to Char, and I've got everything upgraded, every MERC contract, and over 700,000 credits left over!
Wait, what? How did you do that? Isn't that impossible?
Actually no. Each time you go back through a level and you pick up the relics and research items, you get extra research points for the Zerg and Protoss upgrades in the Lab. Once you've researched all of those upgrades, the Lab turns the research points into $$$. So I played through the game for the second time on Normal up until I go down to Char, getting all the Normal achievements. Then I went back through again on hard in the same playthrough, getting all the Hard achievements. And now I have too much money. I averaged $170K from each mission, allowing me to buy literally everything with tons to spare.
Y'all can go ahead 'an PM me if y'all wanna add me as a frend in that there game. (said with an alabame white trash southern drawl)

Why did Blizzard implement that kind of functionality? It doesn't make sense that you can get all that extra money. What's the point of choosing upgrades and having to pick if you can get it all?

I think they added that function because once you beat the game the first time, do you really want to be restricted to what you can do and use? Hell no! You want to be able to play with every single awesome Upgrade and Merc that you can!
I also think they assumed that nobody would want to play through the game 6 times to get all the Upgrade Achievements.
I do wish they would have mentioned fenix's name somewhere. I mean Kerrigan killed him and that was raynors friend.

so the way it ended now was way unexpected
