So after playing 300 hours of D3, i got to the point that it feels more like work than fun so I quit. After beating Diablo on Inferno there's no point in playing the game. I got bored one day and I started to roam around the D3 AH market and see how's it doing, I wanted to check out charts and graph and stuff but apparently the data for it aren't that readily available on the internet, so I decided to collect my own AH pricing data. DOING THIS IS MORE FUN THAN PLAYING THE GAME......how ironic. I think the D3 economy is more interesting than the game itself.
Anyway the site has a bunch of live data being push to it every 15-30 minute or so. Most of the data I just started grabbing 3-4 days ago. I think it will be very interesting to see how the economy will pan out.
So what do you guys think? I need some feedback so I can make it better.
One piece of feedback: on the gems tracking feature, the red line is for Emeralds and the green line is for Rubies. It's understandable Topaz being blue since there's not a yellow line, but red and green could be on the right place, uh?
I'm not sure how you're grabbing data, but I was thinking of a similar system for a different purpose (quickly getting a character's gear), though possibly my way of getting data would be more tedious.
However, you could have a program watch C:\Users\Whoever\My Documents\Diablo 3\Screenshots\ and every time a new screenshot is added, the program could take the image and transcribe the words on the item only. Then you could just run down the list hitting Print Screen and grab tons of data. Obviously, it'd take some messing around to get it to learn the D3 font but it is definitely possible.
Didn't mean to hijack this thread, http://diablo3marketwatch.com/ is super cool. It's good to see other people getting involved with this kind of stuff, keep up the good work dude. Perhaps we can work together for something
I'm also very interested on how you manage to datamine the AH, could you explain it a bit? I'm afraid there's no way to do this without breaking blizzard rules but you never know.

Thanks for noticing that. The line's color were set to default color. I have manually set them and now it looks easier to read/understand .

I just grab data straight from the AH, Instead of doing it manually, just write a program for it.

Lets hope rework of the AH will bring some nice features to use like that
