It sounds like you have had your account compromised. Head to the official Diablo 3 site, follow the steps to secure your account once more, change your password, start the recovery steps and think about investing in an authenticator if you don't already have one.
so my shit is just gone then eh, i mean i never had this problem with d2, not once.....wnats the point of securing once more since i did nothing to give out my password....obviously they can just do it again, and im not wasting nemore money on this fucken game

Blizzard is not responsible for the security on your end. It was either stolen off your computer, or you gave it to someone, whether you knew you did or not. Good luck blaming someone else, though.

The reason you never got hacked in D2 is that nothing in D2 was worth stealing. Why bother farming passwords with spyware when you can just dupe the items? Modern Blizzard games have lots of players and tradeable items with value so there is a market for account hacking (complete misnomer actually, they don't hack you at all, they just log in with the password they got from spyware you never realised you downloaded).
Seriously, catch a clue, anyone can get spyware on their computer no matter how smart they think they are. An authenticator is mandatory for security in the modern internet.
P.S. Don't know what Diablo's policy is but in WoW they can restore your lost items very quickly in the event of a compromised account. Blizzard does everything they can about security short of requiring you to mail your HDD to them.

I can't see you mentioning an authenticator anywhere...
Mormolyce hits the nail on the head when he says you're password was likely netted with some spy/malware and an authenticator would've stopped whoever from being able to log in even if they had you're details.
Contact Blizz about the issue - the can check you're account for hacked activity and restore your game to an earlier state.

Please leave, your grammar, attitude, and knowledge of computer security if quite frankly disgusting.
Contact support, buy an authenticator and change all your passwords. You can write them down in on a piece of paper if you have problems remembering them.
ok i didnt know passwords could be stolen through spyware or malware....thanks to the few people that gave my advise...for the rest of you that just started bashing on me like a bunch of elitist IT nerds I'm not a constant forum lurker and obviously not a big computer guy so I had no idea what an authenticator is or I ever needed to get one...I mean I get you all want to be tough and show off for your cool forum friends but those that were acting offended are just shocking...i mean i spend 60 bucs on this game just to have all my shit swiped...i play this game like and hour or two every two or three days, I'm not gona replace my account in a couple of days like many of you would, its annoying as hell
like you guys can't tell im just annoyed by being hacked without me doing anything to directly give out the password (apparently its spyware) and in your fanboy-ism immediatly protect the reputation of Blizzard, god dammit!!

If you have a smartphone, they're free, you just get the app. If you don't, they sell them on the Blizzard store for cost, it's like $6.50 US.
