"Our developers have decided that bonuses + Magic Find, Gold Find + and + XP but will work differently for groups of players. These bonuses will be equal for each character in the group and subsidiaries sum bonuses for all players.
The group consists of four players. In total, their stats are 50% MF, +20% GF and 10% XP, each of these players will have a 12.5% MF, 5% and 2.5% GF XP being in such a group.
Playing with a companion, available for rent, as at present receive 20% bonus to the statistics of type 'adventure' with a bonus companion visible on the panel."
If you are saying that 'yes' a groups '% gold find increase' gets averaged out in co-op games similar to magic find... than what other stats get averaged out and spread through the group in co-op games?
But thats wierd... Im sure that +exp per kill is not shared, cuz it sure wasnt in beta. I was playing with 2 friends in beta and I had +40 exp per kill and they had nothing. In the start I was lvl 5 and they lvl 6 and in the end I was lvl 10 when they were lvl 9... Maybe the sharing is only +exp% and not +exp/kill?
Wow, thx for the link Ronark... not sure how I missed the blues about that 'group split' including +XP and Gold Find stats along with Magic Find.
My question is answered, although it kinda saddens me that the whole "you get 20% of your followers stats in these catagories" promotes solo play... I guess it was the lesser of 2 evils, because I don't really see a better way to fix leaching. I know that the topic has been beaten dead horse style already, so I'll just leave it at that.

I have thought of this for a bit about leeching off of others. Is it really leeching if they don't have the same stats in +xp as you but they would then have stats in other areas that would help the group? I can understand someone coming into a game wearing all whites sitting at the back of the party sipping coffee, that would be leeching.

Thanks in advance for the intel, I'm assuming it doesn't but wasn't sure.
I don't think +exp is averaged out.. that's a greedy one?
They are all averaged. Taken from an embeded post in the News post: http://www.diablofans.com/news/1105-possible-big-announcement-soon-magic-find-change-the-right-choice-blue-posts-wallpaper/
