I came across some old images from this guild and threw up a little something about SICK, but since I never really was involved in it I just wrote down what I could recall. Are there any old SICK members still here who'd like to expand a bit on it?
(For those who have no idea what this is or what I'm talking about, it's a guild that existed here on the forum when we were still diablo3.com)
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

I was a bit of a late comer to SICK but was definitely a part of it, notably I played with Bambi and Ferret quite a bit on Diablo 2. I don't think Thasador was actually the leader of Slayers...he may have been the leader of another group of SICK members, that's the only possible correction I can find. I'm assuming you want details mostly elaborating on the origins or something to that extent, which I can't help you with.
EDIT: The official title for SICK might have actually been Silver's Inferno Crusading Knights. Once again, not 100% sure since I was less the role player and more one of the ones who played D2.
I believe you're right about the acronym. It was in reference to Silver's avatar which was that silver surfing guy (partly why I never liked it too much) and we were all pretty consistent players for quite a time. I also was never as active as guys like Bambi and Ferret. Most members had to have a SICK at the beginning of each of their character's name but they made an exception for me which was nice of them! Besides just getting together and joining in each other's games though, there wasn't much else that was official about it. There was no kind of ranking system or obligations. It was mostly just based on the thread about it where we discussed gear and needing one rune or another or getting together for uber runs.
I was impressed at how long it went on for though.
I've been thinking about SICK a bit today just to see if I could remember anything else and here's what I got.
Near the beginning of its existence it seems Silver and Elfen would let anybody in, so there was people with one post who would be part of the clan and they'd never come back. This led to the creation of Carloseus' Slayers I believe, which consisted of the most active of members as well as Assassins (which I believe was Thasador's legion) which had a lot of active members. Over time even these active members became inactive though. There was an even smaller portion who played D2 regularly, which consisted of Ferret, Bambi, me, Caliban, Siaynoq and maybe a few others that I can't place. That group of people decided to make their own split from SICK really, which had two names if I recall correctly, one was Rebel and one was Sentinels (not sure what order). (Also I don't think Siaynoq was a part of the split. He might not have been playing at the time, and probably wouldn't have concerned himself with it anyway, he's much too relaxed about everything.) After that I'm not sure but I think inactivity by the main forum members finished SICK off.
I'm even remembering then that we did have ranks, and that guys like Carlos, Silver, and Thasador had higher rankings than everyone and we sort of served under them. Like each had a company within SICK and it was these different commanders that would advance people in rank and sort of oversee the whole roleplaying aspect of it. Cause I think I was actually in Carlos' company.
Yea, the Slayers, the Legion, the...whatever the rest were called, if I remember correctly, were part of SICK but were in kinda "sub guilds" if you were. They kinda served their leader which reported to the guild leader or something like that.

Great! Now if any of you could add that stuff to the SICK page that would be great; there ought to be a reference of what happened in the guild somewhere.

If I find the time I'd be happy to add the information. Lots of details in the old threads to search through though, so I might not get around to it till I find the motivation.
The ranks, as well as active members (or purportedly active members) at the end. I think this was created at the very end of SICK's life as a last-ditch effort to hold on, but after that, and without an announcement, we had little to look forward to and it just drizzled away. 2008 was basically the end, I think, even though there are threads after that period.
This goes more in-depth with the ranks, but again, this was mostly just for show towards the end. Mid to late 2008 seemed--to me--to just be a handful of people playing online and having fun without much regards for ranks or rules (with the exception of hacks, which was more or less enforced).

Seriously though, I'll try to get around to it, just got a lot on my plate at the moment, and there are some big SICK threads.
