Fastest Patch 2.4 T10 Farming Build
With patch 2.4 approaching and players getting ready for a new seasonal race, some players are left wondering which are the fastest T10 farming builds, so they an turbo-boost their farming potential early on.
Philosophios has released a video guide about the Fire Multishot DH that he claims can clear T10 Rifts in 2 minutes. Check it out!
That video while featuring a nice build for speedfarming was presented in the most boring way imaginable. The guy sounded like he was in primary school saying good morning to his teacher in that same flat "Why am I here" tone of voice.
Cmon dude its a game. If you don't enjoy it anymore then why make the video? Could've just been a written guide.
Generally speaking the LoN builds, Locust WD and others we've featured in the past are good "starting point" builds for T10. Since we've previously featured those, I figured we could use a more high end T10 build - something players who play a lot more can look forward to setting up if they want an optimized T10 farming setup (for whatever reason).
Thanks for the feedback tho! I'll make sure we highlight more "starter" builds for getting to T10, with slightly lower requirements.
you are right but it could of been the morning for him lol
So I guess nowadays the skills doesn't cost any Hatred or Discipline..
I'm running the same setup on PTR. It's insanely fast and yes, I'm using full ancient gear with lvl 72 gems and para 950, BUT I'm also fairly certain it will do just as good with normal items and perhaps an ancient weapon. I mean, this setup has so much overkill, that in most cases, lower gear will only mean just slightly slower clear times.
On top of that, I've tested most other speed farm builds for T10, on other classes, and this one is by far the most enjoyable to play. It is not as "twitchy" as the god mode barb or super fast like angry chicken. It can be very fast but at the same time you don't need to mind your cds too much and you actually have time to stop, inspect and pick up items without losing efficiency. There is no ingeom value wasted, no other cds wasted aaaand you can stand in molten explosions all day
I'll definitely be running this when S5 starts. It's just such a great build for grunt work + it only takes a few tweaks to get it ready for GR70+.
Working well at P760 with lv50 gems, no gem augments on items, wrong hellfire passive, and only 4 ancient items.
Running T10 in roughly 3~4 mins on bad maps, and about 2 mins on Southern Highlands.
I'm missing the fleet footed passive, but from playing this build so far I don't feel it would be needed. I would probably swap out the Zei's for Trapped and use Thrill of the Hunt as the 5th passive.
then how prove 2min?! Kappa
'starter' t10 builds don't make any sense, it's like an oxymoron, you are either wrecking t10 or you should just lower the difficulty, same build just lower difficulty, it's not complicated guys...
People are talking about LoN Horse and Locust and that's fine as your goal speed build, but this build is terrible because he had good items? At least you can start playing this one before you have the items in ancient form.
Why would people expect to be able to go at this speed right at the start of the season? It doesn't mean the build won't work at all if you personally are not doing regular 2 minute clears. It's a build that is easy to play and clears TX, building up to super fast. Do you need to be walked through gearing up from average versions to ancient by someone with an excited voice in order to figure that out for yourself?
Also the presentation told me everything I needed to know about the build. Jumping around screaming wouldn't have made it better, and it was certainly easier to understand than the last video on this page and more accurate than the one before that.
This seems like a really good indicator to me.
But yes, I totally agree that it would help if people showcasing builds would do them without mass paragon and augments added for builds that aren't meant to be leaderboard-winning, because they should know that the vast majority of their audience is not going to get that far. I can't speak for others but for me personally as a solo player the quoted post above is roughly where I reached last season. Plenty of Ancients, lvl55+ gems, ~para650. All the video would have to do is have a reasonable paragon mainstat reduction and it'd be fine. Not sure about for other players.
The people crying that it won't work without insane para levels aren't presenting any useful information either, just guesses.
To everybody who thinks he's boring: That's just the way he talks. He doesn't embrace a fake "I yell as much as possible" fake Youtube personality. Don't like it? Too bad.
Great Video! Love the format and the content, Philosophios. Must take a lot of time to get it to this state.
I've been following your GR build videos as well. This is of great help since I intend to play demon hunter as a secondary class during S5.
Keep up the good work.
Has Firebirds been nerfed back to being garbage?
just pretend the X in the top right corner is VIII
@philosophios fair enough. I guess I didn't even consider that lol. I'd maybe argue that most players who don't really dedicate many hours a day want to at least be able to have fun with the "big guys" in T10 in public games - hence the "starter T10" notion. For these players I'd even argue that "wrecking" T10 makes the game boring, and that having a challenge with it is what they want and expect.
But your point is very reasonable and makes perfect sense thanks for the reply.
anyways, thanks for the feature
