Interviews with the Devs, Full RoS Gamescom Presentation in HD, Official Gameplay Screenshots
Interviews with the Devs
After 'Reaper of Souls' was announced on Wednesday, the developers gave a bunch of interviews to various medias, YouTubers and streamers. Here is a small part of them, starting with Athene's 4 and a half minute talk with D3's game director Josh Mosqueira and the game's art director Christian Lichtner.
As a long-time gamer and a Blizzard fan, Athene got a few very interesting questions out of the way, making the developers give hints to the possible PVP system.
Check it out and see for yourselves, then let us know what you think and what you could make of Josh' and Christian's answers.
The German site PCGames.de also did a great interview, this time with Brian Kindregan, the lead writer for Diablo III, and the lead designer Kevin Martens.
If you want even more information from the source, you should definitely check Gamona.de's interview as well!
Summarized information of all that you see and all that you may have missed, is coming in DiabloFans' Final Expansion Recap on Sunday!

Instead of just looking at blurry photos from Blizzard's gamescom presentation, you should have a look at this 30-minute HD video of the RoS talk. There are a lot of details that our recap may have missed, so make sure to trust your own eyes.
Official Gameplay Screenshots
A beautiful collection of ingame screenshots was released by Blizzard today. Along with it, the official expansion site got pretty well filled up with info, screenshots, art and videos.
Specifically at 9:54 onward.
I'm really in two minds about that. I would have liked more classes, but I actually pretty much only play two at the moment anyway, and if they really do nail the build-enabling legendaries, that'll add enough variation to keep me going for another holycraphowmany more hours.
Yeah, isn't that great? We get all that stuff for free and even before the x-pac launch.
I hope there's more than that though. The free patch (Loot 2.0, Paragon 2.0, Nephalem Trials, Loot runs) looks really great so the expansion needs to bring something more than that unless the expansion is really light and costs 25% of the vanilla like phatosen said, I mean D2:LoD had the runewords which broken as they are, changed D2 forever.
Blizzard will definitely announce more expansion content at Blizzcon. That's the place for which you save the juiciest info.
Josh stated that they picked only a few topics to talk about at Gamescom, and that there's a lot more to the expansion. Also, whoever thinks the game will cost less than 40$ is quite delusional. xD

One example: We are gonna see the Pandemonium Fortress (which, apparently, has changed drastically from D2) and more in RoS.
Another: There is a definite chance that we'll encounter one or more of the Evils from D2, since Josh replies "Maybe."
Big-ass example: We will get Beta this year. This year!!!
Well, he answered the questions "I hope the beta will be available this year" with "YES", not "there will be a beta this year". Of course he hopes to release beta this year.
you know - there was actully a post about why they picked yards - when the yards they use are not even yards - Wish I had the time to find it
