Blizzard holds their costume contest every year at Blizzcon. In the last two years, a Mistress of Pain and Monk costume won. Unfortunately, this year there was no Diablo themed winner. However, there were many more Diablo entries as interest in this game rises. Here are images of the Diablo costumes. Click on any image for the larger version.
Demon Hunter:
Wizard:
Barbarian:
Monk:
Deckard Cain:
Treasure Seeker:
Tyrael:
Blizzard also had their art contest with a Diablo entry winning 3rd place:
lol let it go already. She's good looking and has a nice body. Women never use those attributes to advance, especially in a costume contest...
back on topic, most of the diablo costumes were kind of lackluster in my opinion, yes including tyrael. The best one was the last female demon hunter, but even her costume just seems underwhelming compared to the diablo art.

The treasure seeker was the most original one I thought. I like any that aren't so typical.
The monk one was the best in my opnion... hard to say without a video... acting is just part of the cosplay as the costume... Another reason for the female Tyreal failure (shes smiling way to much for a faceless angel made of sound and light).

If she had a bag over her head, it would be "more" Tyrael, since we dont see his face.. Right?
What exactly is it that you're hoping for? It can be hard enough to bring a costume life when you've got plentiful resources, and it's even harder when you've got limited to no gameplay access and just concept art. These characters aren't designed with real life things in mind, like gravity or how to make it stay on your body.
I admire every costume that walked the stage this year because they all put in the time and effort and then had enough balls to get up on a stage in front of thousands of people and a live TV stream.
I think Deckard Cain was the best costume xP And for the videos, there was no Diablo vids because D3 isnt out yet? Anyone know the process of entering a vid? Im thinking of making one for next year, not sure how it works though. Hoping to see more Diablo next year, way too much Wow...

Yes. And then they lived happily ever after. Best fairy tale ever!
For the record, it's not just women who use looks. It's part of us- something natural. What you are failing to get is- determining what 'going over the top' constitutes is pretty subjective. For example many will see boobs and legs on the tyrael chick before anything. Since it is a costume contest, one might easily assume that her costume had too much emphasis on her (fine) figure instead of say, creativity behind her presentation.

I think you may be on to something.
I happen to see all humans engaging in cosplay as absolutely fucking idiotic- most ending up as pale and unflattering imitations of fictional characters. I however commend them for their sheer guts in ridiculing themselves in this manner. It will be interesting to see how many end up with Alzheimer in old age- you know, just so they can forget what an absolute ass they were earlier in their lives.
Judgement was pretty good, granted that was for another game. The tyrael costume has to be the worst, and I'm male. I won't get into the ethics, but not everyone thinks solely with their member stuck in a permanent pre teen mentality, just pointing it out, a few weeks late albeit, but I've been busy.

Blue post
I knew she was azn.
I'd say half asian - half white. Regardless she goes on my list of top 10 most beatiful females. That body is FLAWLESS.
EDIT: After googling her, she is true asian.

Man you are salty today fishy. Are you all butthurt because you lost a job interiew or a promotion to a hot chick?

Now if only you were the costume designer, this show might have been saved.
- what is the anything? I did'nt get any further than the first thing you mentioned
