The screenshot came from a Korean-language version of the Diablo 3 site.
Here's the actual Cinematic Trailer for the Monk:
And here's the Gameplay Footage of the Monk:
More news to come soon!
I've seen the gameplay video of the witch doctor a couple of times, never associated his summons with toads, but those "toads" seems pretty dangerous to me anyways...
It's been posted several times but here

...and you fail at not recognizing that this isn't even anything close to normal martial arts, theres pretty obviously some incredibly supernatural and magic stuff going on along with it.
I'm guessing it's what actual monks refer to as Chi
But it's probably just called Mana in sanctuary.
Doesn't make anything that i have said anyless true.
It looks like the paladins charge except it goes from target to target. (11 seconds in, and again at 17 seconds)
The fact that you accept that someone is able to kill a demon with pretty normal weapons (ala the Barbarian) is pretty contradictory to your belief that the monk shouldn't be able to do the same.
You liked Diablo 2, yet it had a class that could kill Diablo with kung-fu, how is that possible?
So if you aren't complaining about realism, why are you complaining in general? Why do you think it makes the demons look bad to get killed by kung-fu moves or by a toad? Because it doesn't make sense, right? Because it isn't "realistic" or "believable".
Well in Diablo (and yes I do know the lore) humans are powerful, if I'm not mistaken at one point they had the potential to become more powerful than angels and demons. So why would it make a demon a 'pussy' if he was killed by a highly trained human warrior in powerful gear that happens to use kung-fu?
I know how much more 'amazing' it is to kill a massive demon with a swirling hammer, or after you transformed into a bear, or when you summon a bunch of little skeletons, or you lay down some traps that shoot electricity, or when you do a jump kick, or summoning vines... I mean, killing one of the most powerful demons in hell with that stuff is all 'hardcore' and makes the demons look bad ass... But killing them by smashing their skull with a giant mace (like the trailers show the monk doing) is just so lame.
I know, I agree it is a fantasy and that the monk feels very powerful... That his skills justify him killing anything in the game.
I am saying that it is perfectly fine for a demon to die to a toad or martial arts if in Diablo 2 they were able to die to the skills that were in that game.
Yeah but those are the first summons you get, I douth you'll be killing Diablo with them, hell i never seen anyone kill Baal with wolves either. At least not without any kind of support or re-summons.
Looks cool. Sounds great
You're absolutly right, i never should of question anything that you have said.
I'm simply trying to debate what you are saying... Because it makes no sense.
You like Diablo 2, you can kill Diablo in that game by summoning wolves... Does that really seem like Diablo is a 'pussy' if he cannot kill some wolves? And you can kill him with martial arts as well... There are several skills I named that seem like it make the Prime Evils look weak for not being able to overcome them.
Yet now that very similar things are in Diablo 3, you don't like it. Seems hypocritical to me, like you are just looking for something to complain about.
I think Diablo III is not the right game for you, if you are so focused on realism. Go play ARMA 2 or something if you're looking for that..
It's not a bad class idea (forget anything negative I have said in the past). lol
What are you talking about?
I'm the one arguing that it is a fantasy game... That you SHOULD be able to kill Diablo with all of these crazy skills and spells that are in the game.
Diablo isn't a realistic game. His original point was that Diablo looks like a 'pussy' when he dies to martial arts or toads... And I simply do not see why that is the case, which is why I am questioning his complaining about the monk and his skill set.
Doh, sorry. Misread the quotes
I agree with you in that case, carry on.
