Rock on, Diablo Fans! I just placed an order for the Legendary Edition, which will only have a single limited production run. FYI, I'm pretty hyped about this.
Starcraft's "No Matter The Cost" is fantastic, as is The Eternal Conflict (Tristram theme song redux).
I'll be framing those art cards and hanging them on my wall in artsy fartsy fashion for sure.
Hear some samples for yourself! http://www.echoes-of-war.com/?media/sample-tracks
The art I doubt is new (they aren't very big anyway), and I don't really care about watching people play music, I just want to listen to them. It doesn't say whats in the booklet either. And what is this 'Taking On Diablo' thing?
However, if it was something like a sword or some item of clothing or a book from Diablo, I would definitely get it.
Though I suppose its only like a $20 difference.
The 'taking on Diablo' thing seems to be an interview with Ko Otani about his Diablo composition and his take on the series and its music. Anyone who's enjoyed both Shadow of the Colossus and Diablo will probably want to check that out.
Anyway, you can just get the cheaper version with just the music in it.
But yeah, I think I'll just get the standard edition.
Anyone else intrigued by the title for the Diablo 3 track: "Last Angel" ?? Wonder what thats about.
If we were able to choose I'd kill 'em.
Any and everyone/everything that relates to Shadow of the Colossus in any way is surely to be made of win. That game is awesomeness incarnate just like Diablo.
what i think sets this apart is the cool extras they give you. that is why i'm buying it.
EDIT: Ah, as usual, no shipping to Serbia.
The DVD included in the Legacy Edition sounds interesting, so this may be a purchase, or a request for a birthday gift; though I do wish there was more Diablo content in this compilation.
I couldn't find a listing, anywhere, but I'm guessing the song-length will average around six minutes. (90 minutes total/15 tracks)
