You need more pickup radius :P

:) Auto picking up pennies in real life would be like auto pickup for white items in D3.

Thanks for the feedback so far!

Wait a minute. Did you seriously kill off a hardcore character just for this video?

Ya, it was part of the idea and I didn't want to fake it. It was originally going to be a Barbarian. He died in his 40s. haha
It would have been a bigger highlight had the max video length been longer than 3 minutes. There are a couple of deleted scenes, also. Some Monk weight training ("Your weakness disgusts the Gods!"), a bit of an opening with me getting home from work and realizing I have something very important to do. Level to 60 as well as an end scene of me waking up and my girlfriend dressed in normal clothes telling me to come to bed.

    Hey everyone!

I have been lurking diablofans daily for years and finally have a reason to post. My live action Diablo video received third place at Blizzcon and I wanted to share it as well as some details with you guys first.

I have put many, many hours into Diablo games from I to III and was glad to finally put some of that experience to use in video. My girlfriend and I were the only two to work on this project and we are happy with how it turned out. It was also a great experience to be at Blizzcon in the front row when it was premiered. We were excited to hear all of the live feedback and see it played on "the big screen".

Would love to know what you guys think!

    Some fun facts:

All of the Monk's dialogue is taken directly from the game. The script was written based around the sound bites that I gathered.

The Deadly Reach animation matches the in game (default) version frame for frame and also nearly pixel for pixel.

The costume that Krysten (the Monk) designed is based on the first equipment that you can buy in-game.

This is the first Diablo related video to place in a Blizzcon movie contest.

I leveled a Hardcore Monk to 60 (with minor help) just to kill him off for the video.

Any questions, feel free to ask!

I think this will turn out fine. Blizz knows what they're doing. Let the community judge once it's live.
