Lets not spread misinformation please. The Necromancer doesn't have any poison skills or abilities. One might argue however, that Blight is the same as poison, but that just isn't the case. Poison inherently has DOT affects, while Blight doesn't.
This gem in it's current state, is especially problematic for HC players because it stuns you at seemingly the worst opportune times. So it definitely needs to be reworked a bit to compete with the others and not be a hindrance for HC.
But you have to admit, it's a wicked looking transmog.
Your posts are always utterly insightful Bagstone and I agree with 99% of what you said about the unlikelihood of D3X2 and D3mobile.
However in my opinion, the Diablo story and franchise is far from over. The fact that they're hiring new employees that "think there are countless stories left to tell in the Diablo universe" makes me think otherwise. Not to mention the end of Reaper of Souls left several possibilities and hints up in the air and on a massive cliffhanger.
Perhaps I cannot speak for others, although its a semi safe assumption, but the legendary drop rates are higher after the guardian than beforehand. So if you're truly seeking legendary items, then finishing the entire rift is the way to go. Playing the game to get blood shards and gambling is much less rewarding than actually finding them anyways.

I see the point and agreed, that is unfortunate. Playing just one season though should be enough to see the benefits in non-season.
