The arguments against Self found in this thread are what is the word... Oh yes.. STUPID
Arugments against them:
1You will get bored and annoyed that you are not finding anything useful.
2You do realize Diablo was always and always will be a single player game, therefor, why the F do you care how people play ?
3This game is not competitive, never will be and never was, therefor, play it the way you want, no one gives a single tiny crap.
4Im no sure why everyone keeps going on about self found lately. If you want to play self found, go right ahead.
The arguments against them make zero sense.
1. A player would not play self found if he found self found boring period just like a player who gets frusturated losing his character when he dies does not play HC. Sounds simple enough ey?
2. How is diablo 3 a single player game? Diablo devs have seriously tried as hard as humanly possible to implement a multiplayer expierence (XP boosts, public games, auction house). They have done everything they could to take away from the single player aspect of the game. Self founders just want to bring the single player BACK to Diablo 3.
3. Self found once again is not trying to be competitive. It is trying to bring back the roots that D2 had. You know the time when there wasn't a AH and people didn't constantly brag about there DPS a.k.a how much money they spend on digital items :).
4. I will use this point a million more times. WHY IN SC IF YOU DIE YOU JUST DELETE YOUR CHARACTER????????
So please why so much haters. What about implementing a self found would be bad for you? If you don't like the idea you just don't play it very similar to if you don't like HC then you don't play HC.
This was not an Ad thread. It was simply meant to provide with whoever wanted to come to my stream and support self found they could. If they didn't want to then by all means don't. But please. Quit trying to control how I play.
But, because you want an option to force people to play it, that's when it bugs me. You don't actually care how you play, you want to control how others play.
Well that is not correct. I am not forcing anybody to do anything. I simple feel just as people who use the auction house get more sense of achievment and recognistion than self founders. When a group of people are above others that is what bugs me. Just as auction house is forcing us to use the auction house I just want a mode that has its own set of achivements.
Why can't you just play hardcore? Why when you die you don't just delete your character? Its the sense of achivement that self founders do not get.
Let Diablo 3 implement a hardcore, softcore, and self found. In hardcore respawning is disabled in self found the auction house is disabled. Too much to ask?
I am going to be doing a world record run from 1-60 in RECORD TIME.
I will only be doing self found because I believe in independence in Diablo 3!
Allow us to be free from these so called "spenders" and let the independent people of diablo 3 want to be independent.
Us self founders need to send a message to blizzard so come on in the stream and support self found as we achieve the 1-60 run. It will be starting at 8PM PST TONIGHT!
