The most important question for me is if you are able to use your existing account/characters. Unlikely and then Im not that interested. But if its possible I will buy a PS4 as soon as its hits the market...
Those are the pieces of gear i would recommend you to get as you are starting as a WW-barb:
- Use a mighty weapon
- Buy a belt with life steal (preferably IK belt)
- Use a shield with high crit %
I would say that those are minimum stats (unbuffed). Of course, some things can differ if you use loh or whatever.
- 30% cc
- 40k dps
- 40k life
- 450 allres
- 8000 armor
If you do not meet those minimum requirements, gear a bit more.I got just a bit above those stats (no life on hit) and i can farm act3 mp0. Of course, i need to be careful because some affixes are still dangerous (especially in tight spaces). I geared my barb for 10m. My profile is Moontracker#1833. Also, those are the minimum stats that work for me. I don't know how much experience you got running with a ww barb. I got a lvl52 sc paragon barb and i am an experienced gamer. If you are not experienced, youd best be careful and get higher stats.
The usual way a ww barb dies is from being fury starved when in the middle of a pack. Always keep as much fury as you can (break a lot of jars on your way). If you ever encounter a bad affix combo and you are short on fury, you are asking for trouble. This is the reason why i recommend you to use a mighty weapon at first. If you ever get starved, using a mighty weapon will refill your fury and enable you to get out of trouble. I also use bash "instigation" for the extra fury regen.

Ps. Anyone know how good the new craftable-gear is on ptr and how much mats you need for making a piece? When the patch is released I hope to craft some better gear for myself and maybe that the prices on legendarys/set-gear goes down a bit...
I have tried to get some tips earlier on the official hardcore-forum buts it’s more or less dead now a days.
Right now I use a very defensive build/play when I farm act 1 on my barb but are getting quite bored with spamming frenzy+rend and would love to play the whirlwind-spec. Anyone that can help me with a whirldwindspec that works well on hardcore?
My goal is to farm act 1 easy(as I do now) and progress through act 2-3 in a couple of weeks. What stats should I aim for? More critt I guess, how much life on hit do I need? Etc…
I have 2 million in the bank. Due to work and irl it takes a while for me to farm cash but if I had a budget of 5 million would gear would you change first and what stats should I look for?
