I'm glad yours does Ruk, mine did as well, all the way to the point where my launcher downloaded 1.0.6. I've never had an issue since launch, all of my other games run with no issues, including sitting in org at max settings with 36 MS and 40 world MS in WoW, along with 70+ fps. I built my machine from the ground up, it's a topic quality rig. I've checked my router, reset it, it's password protected so no one is stealing my bandwidth, I'm also hard wired directly to it. It may not be an issue for everyone but for me it is, (estearn US). Seems that whatever server my computer is pulling from is just overloaded during peak times, which I've never had an issue with before. I'm at 400+ MS during the day but run smooth from 1am-5am. With all that it only points to one thing, the D3 server for my region.
Not having this exact issue but my MS has been through the roof since 1.0.6 at peak times, making it too much a hassle to even login. The only time it's normal is early in the am (1-5 am est) and I'm rarely up that late. Never had any issues since launch with D3, and all my other games including WoW still run perfect, speed test came back at 35 MS ping with 17mb download and 3mb upload so there's definitely something going on with the D3 servers. Hopefully it's fixed in this 10 hour scheduled maint coming up. If not then ill be hanging it up until it is fixed, sadly.
Hopefully they fix the issue with my MS, ever since the last patch ive been at 250+ MS throughout the day making it impossible to play. Its not on my end, and all my other games including wow run perfect.

rather than spend 30-50m on a piece of gear, you could gear a ww barb from nothing for like 10m (even 5m will do but 10m will give you much more option and you can get few high str IK pieces) that can farm mp3 easily
I played since release I played barb first. then come inferno act 2 road block where I can't even get past the canyon outside the city gate in act 2. I made a DH, with my friend help to clear butcher an borrow a wp from a friend. My friends and I just farm goblins, we made good loot from those. My friend sold a ring for 250 dollars on rmah and a couple of cheaper item. Then I made monk since my barb really not progressing. I made out to act 3 then road block again, this is pre 1.0.3 where ww barb don't exist. I went on hibernation through 1.0.4 and came back in 1.0.5 (2-3 months hiatus). My monk is okay farming mp1 but act 4 and higher mp hurts, then I re gear my barb to ww with 2mil and he can farm mp3 with relative ease (act 1 is easy while act 2 and 3 u have to be more careful). now after 3 weeks my barb is 105k dps unbuffed can do mp5 safely although it takes too long so I just farm mp3 zerg style. So sometimes when things stuck like this you can consider other classes too. I am levelling a WD now, bored to death trying to level a wiz. It's kinda fun. I have all gear ready to to farm mp2 once he gets to 60. I got lucky with a couple of things found by my barb for him (zunimasa chest, high avg damage things of the deep and most of armor pieces)
Thanks for reply, and to answer your question, yes I have actually. I have a 57 DH but just not a huge fan of all the kiting that is involved with it, not really my play style. I have however started a barb(lvl 56 atm) which I plan on getting to 60 later on today. When that time comes I plan on putting around 10m worth of gear on him and starting enjoying the farming there. I've played my monk since release and I really enjoy the play style so I'm sure I'll be switching back and forth between him and my barb Cheers!
Hey, with that level of gear you should be able to survive mp 6 w/o too many deaths. My monk does it with about 560 AR.
Now, what i do is i like to change overwave with hard target(the armor nerf really screwed us), also instead of fleet foot for higher mp's i use Transcendence. This way i get to about 5.5k armor and 100 life per spirit spent, and also i get some nice dodge from mantra to keep me alive more. My tag is Heru#2111 on EU. Notice that my gear is about the same as yours.

Well I've been creeping on these forums since D3 release and decided that I can get some good advice from the fellow Monks here. Right now I'm pretty happy with my monk, I can farm Mp1 for gear and xp with no issues whatsoever, I usually do solo MP4 for key runs but anything after that I started getting hit pretty hard. So with saying that I'd like to at least be able to do MP5/6 solo for keys and I'm just not sure where to go gear wise because it seems at where I'm at now upgrades are getting pretty pricey. I also don't really want to give up more resists(sitting at 691 with OWE) if at all possible. I know I need to eventually pick up nats boots and a ring for the 2 pc but they're so expensive that I want to make sure im not wasting money on a mediocre roll. I've also thought about selling my WKL, but I'm not really sure on what kinda price range it's worth so if anyone can tell me that it'd be appreciated. Other then those two things I'm pretty stumped where to go gear wise at this moment, all input is greatly appreciated!
