Which is why hydra isn't showing on my gear. My gesture of Orpheous is a cold damage wand, and I really felt like my damage suffered when I was using it. Shard of Hate is unfortunately my strongest weapon right now, an ancient Devastator would be my other choice. I have actually been finding Sun Keeper like nobodys business, but they are all pretty much garbage ( non-ancient ~1900 dps). Shard actually felt really good when I was using blizzard, it would spam the frozen skulls like crazy. I guess the solution is just to keep farming for that gear
So I have been clearing pretty well using 6pc tals and 4pc Delsere. I got my 49 gr done fairly easily, but since then I have been struggling to clear the high 40s and 50+ rifts. The damage seems to be strong, but I just dont seem to kill fast enough if that makes sense.
I am really not sure if there is a more effective spec to roll. I have been making small changes as I go along, but this seems to have worked out the best so far. I do not have a serpent sparker to just to a full tal's spec. I really enjoy the play style, I love the control and damage from slow time. I feel like this should be a strong spec, but can't figure out what I am missing to make it work
