Your an idiot to listen to.Quote from Sartorius
Then this game might just be a little too complex for the likes of you. I've had a really nice mara on closed beta, with bm, forked lightning and super high attack speed. I would simply spam leap + lightning strike and shit on everything. The game is indeed slow in the beginning. I'm hoping they're gonna change that. But it looks me to me that you're talking through your asshole, since you can easily overcome the slow feeling the game gives you, once you get some gear.
Unless you get close 50%+ increased attack speed via talents, the game is MEH. Its a simple fact, that alot of people agree with. Combat in PoE is dreadfull, only way to make it slightly fun, is to invest tons of your skill points into attack speed. Without doing the combat will continue to be absolutely horrible. So much for diversity in a gigantic skill tree, when your forced to go the ias way, unless your fine with a horrid combat system.
Jan 25, 2013PoE could have been an excellent game. It have some very good ideas. (skill tree, diversity, currency). But when the combat is absolutely horrible it sinks all the plusses the game may have had. The game is meh. Just meh.Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
On a sidenote. I do not get, why the make such a dull, meh combat system in a game, thats suppose to nail Diablo 3. The crappy slow, MEH combat system stops PoE for being awesome.
Did i mention how crappy the combat is? And really the game is all about fighting and killing stuff. And when the combat is absolute horrid, the game can vanish for all i care.

What are you exactly saying? your totally lost me, How can it not be fantastic to get a 3 week vacation to australia sponsored by a game you play for fun? What does that have to do with football or your irl job? where is the logic in the gibberish you say? Trolling much?
Because it's not fun to me and the fact that you can earn some money doesn't help anyhow.
You called it "fantastic", I say it's not. If we were both playing a football match I'd say that you made something "fantastic" if you made an exceptional goal, not because you were wearing a wonderful pair of sockets. Ain't it?
But if you want to call it "fantastic" because you made 6k € having fun... Yeah! That's great but, again, most of the people that have a job and like it do earn quite as much as you did (at least here in western Europe) and have almost as much fun as you, so I wouldn't say "fantastic".
But maybe it's just me because I'm used to have fun with my job.
And I won't hijack your topic talking about what I find entertaining in Diablo 3.
Those 90% that make loss are the ones the make the other 10% gain. That's the same in Diablo 3. And Forex is way easier than other trading markets, nonetheless it requires education. Just like you need when you play with the D3 AH.
Thank you. And continue doing so with a smile.Quote from Ourumov

I hate to be the guy that brings up the fact that you selfishly purchased underpriced items and manipulated the market to give yours a selling advantage for your personal gain, and thus artificially inflated the economy for whoever was purchasing your goods. But hey. "congrats"
I hate you and your type, specifically since you mentioned AH sniping and flipping.
Don't hate the player? Hate the game? Yeah I hate that Blizz brought out the worst in people by making it seem ok to behave like this.
Grats on your personal gain to the dismay of people who actually want to use those items in game. You're a genuine AH tycoon.
And you hate me, for doing what people do in a game with an economy. I honestly could not care less.
Dec 1, 2012PVP will be like in diablo 2, just with arena's and shit.. But its going to be the same. Sweet geared players roflstomping bad geared players.Posted in: PvP Discussion
People who took the effort in getting max paragon, getting a sweet gear set, will harvest from that when pvp comes. They roflstomp the lacy persons, whos like paragon 20 and are decked out in crap with 1 medicore weapon. Effort will pay off in pvp.
Its going to be all about gear. Gear you farm yourself. So get on it. Unless ofc your fine with being food for the big players.

My god, I typed in "how are these people duping items in Diablo3?" To my surprise there are websites selling programs for duping!!! This is scary because one program states its absolutely undetectable no matter what blizzard does, including any new patch that they come out with. They state that people have made 10s of thousands of dollars with it. This is scary for the future of Diablo3 and anybody looking to make easy money because in Diablo3 duping is now a Felony.
True or not, people will always find a way to corrupt the system.
God. How can you? im shocked. This just makes me want to quote "No hope for the human race"

Nov 7, 2012god damn, stop posting your mediocore videos then looooosing your aboslute shit when pple tell you that your using inferior and coutner productive mechanics (2h with ww, loh at 80k dps, no thrive on chaos). fuck, welcome to the internet and life. If you put yourself out there (ie posting a video AND THEN making it sound like the biggest thing since sliced bread) you are going to get attention. If u ran a superior build, people wouldnt bitch at that, and then they would say "HEY, YOU DID WHAT ANY BARB SHOULD DO, THAT WAS PRETTY COOL THO SEEING HOW U MANAGED 3 ELITES AT ONCE, GRATS".Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
ontop of that, your just an rude, hot headed, low self esteem internet kid who posts low quality videos and looses his shit at the first scent of negativity, its really tiring. please stop
You want to find out how inferior your build is? go do ubers mp10 solo. hf and adios

It's also quite humorous how it seems you don't understand the fundamentals of what 'random' actually is. Random is NOT average, those are completely different. The 'average' droprate of mp5 keys is 50%, but that DOES NOT MEAN you'll get keys half the time. This isn't blizzard, this is what is called random.
IE; No mattter how many times you kill a keywarden, it does not increase your chance. I also notice you point out how many times you've gotten the same legendary to drop. Guess what, not all legendaries have the same drop rate. The better ones are purposely made harder to find.
And yes that's complete harassment as you are slandering the company without ANY proof of your claims. Actually it is borderline illegal to try to publicly denounce their name and call them liars, when you present zero facts and if anything all the evidence points the contrary. You definatly should have been forum banned for that post.

However, the line must be drawn when they play the "father knows best" card and simultaneously say that it's bad because they don't find it fun and that anyone who finds it fun is not allowed to have that opinion.
The only opinions that are not valid are the ones where people are completely and utterly disrespectful of the fact that they are not the only people playing this game. You dislike the AH? Great. Voice it in a constructive way. Whining, crying, and calling anyone who disagrees with you a "cheater" or "not a true fan" really should result in infractions.
I'm simply incredulous at the number of people who want to so vhemently force their opinion down everyone elses throat because the only invalid opinions are of those who disagree with them.
Why is it that in the context of the conversation that "the AH sucks" is a fact and "the AH isn't so bad" is completely invalid? It's complete ignorance, lack of civility, and downright intolerance like that which have driven me from the forums. There's a difference between constructively expressing ones opinions and being completely disrespectful of the fact that others will not agree with your opinions, but that simply disagreeing with you is not cause to judge their opinions as invalid.
None of your opinions are more "right" than the others are. No matter how badly you may believe that your feeling that the AH molested your sister is correct, it's just a stupid, shitty, opinion and opinions on the internet are worth less than Frostburn Gauntlets.

Making it harder and making it impossible are 2 different things.
- There are working map hacks on bnet
- There are working bots on bnet, which pick up items and snipe the AH, and the only reason pickit was used in d2 was because drops were for everyone, in d3 its only yours so that really does not apply
- I am not sure if there is a dupe yet or not but it would not surprise me
There is no reason for there not to be an offline mode at this time, they made good sales, the people who will pirate the game when they give us offline, would not pay for the game anyway, if they have not already.
Also how would an offline mode have any affect on any of the hacks you mentioned, all of the data needed to create those hacks for the servers has to be done while connected in the first place. An offline mode would not help this, it would only make it easier to hack the offline side, which would have no effect on bnet toons as they would be seperate. Don't believe everything a company tells you, there is a very simple reason to online only, and that is the RMAH and the fact that they tuned drops to be discovered by millions of players, not a solo player.
The AH isn't frustrating because it is there, it is frustrating because it is required. Play the game without using the AH once at all ever on a toon, let me know how that goes. Beating inferno is the easy part (post 1.0.3, I'd love to see you do it in 1.0 without using the cheesy builds) of that scenario, finding upgrades to get you above 50k dps will be the fun part.
How many hours of gameplay did it take for you to find enough gear to sell for say, 500 mill, not buy and resell.
1 - theres a reason the good items cost so much, very few exist with the stats people want
2 - If you found a good set item before 1.0.4, you were very lucky
For the last time, this is Diablo 3, not World Trade Center 2012. You should be able to find good gear on a regular basis without touching the AH.
I didnt say it wasnt impossible to hack, just harder. I didnt see any bot in D3, but according to a friend there were clientside macros that only clicked to walk and auto picked gold, not items. (i'm not saying that there arent auto item picking bots, but i would like if someone has a confirmation on their existance).
anyhow, having serverside only instances of the game would bring down a lot of trial and error posibilities for hackers. Of course hackers dont make D2 offline hacks, but where do you think they tested them in the first place?
I obviously woud like offline mode, i play in argentina and have at least 200ms ping to the US, but i empathise with the reasons of the only online mode
About the AH, i wont discuss how equiping pre 1.04 was, because the game is now in 1.04 for a reason, obveously, and we are now discussing D3 1.04.
I can tell you that i beated inferno (in coop, never solo) without buying any item in the RMAH. I did TRADED in the AH. It is a fun part of the game for me to stack gold and decide what to buy. Or try to sell almost useless stuff for 10k. I never grinded more than 3M gold, i dont have any godly items (besides that shouders that dropped for me), yet finished the game.
You ask me if i found 500M in gear and i tell you i didn't. With 500M you could probably buy all tal rasha set and a masticore and probably have something left to spare. Then i ask you, did you ever found all tal rasha set, and a Windforce/Grandfather in D2? in less than 6 month?
I can tell you i did found 1 tal rasha set and 1 windforce in D2, it took me 3 years. And i never had enough SOJ to buy them.

First i want to make clear that the "only online" gaming is NOT because of the AH. Blizzard explained, and makes perfect sense, that the "only online" mode is to prevent users to fully have in their computers the game "engine/server/game background", to make it WAY harder to hackers to make things like dupes, automatic picking bots, (d2loader, anyone?), maphack, etc etc. As the game is now, the engine that generates monsters, items, loot, characters, maps, is always on a secure blizzard server probably guarded by 3 snipers and laser alarm beans all over, and 2 or 3 D2 sorceress casting firewalls every now and then.
Regarding the AH, i dont see how it prevents people from enjoying the game. I can understand that it can be frustrating to grab an item, think it is good, and then run to the AH just to see that there are millons better, and that your item is in fact "crap".
Well i have a lot of "crap" that i found that i have hanging around for future chars, or gave to friends. On the other hand, i have on my sorc a 700dps crappy weapon (i cant afford a better one) and almost perfectly rolled rare shoulders that could sell for 50M that i found and love (yes... shoulders). The good thing of the AH is that i have the choice to trade those shoulders for a new weapon whithout any stress, but my choice is keeping the shoulders because i like them.
So, i think the problem is not the AH, but the way the AH makes people feel about their items.
What i DO miss is that the AH gives people some "closeness" to the godly items (even though you cant buy them), everyone already saw a windforce on the AH. You dont get that feeling of admiration/envy when you see fighting beside you that powerfull demon hunter with the best bow you can get.
On the good side, the AH is like a mini game inside the game of diablo. you can play to be a millonaire withut even killing 1 mob. In my old days i had a clan teammate that handled all the trading because he really enjoyed doing so. He didnt even had a lvl 80+ character. I bet he is having a blast now.

Blizzard will never implement something like this, even if it makes sense and it is actually useful/fun to play.
Why?, because they already have the ultimate system (profit wise):
They generate an absurd amount of randomness which makes almost every item useless, want a better item? -> AH.
The item on the AH are items people have found... just fyi in case you didn't know. With the amount of people playing / farming and the amount of items dropping, you can have it only one of two ways; Good / useful items drop rarely and therefore are sought out, leading to a lot of farming but the feeling of accomplishment when you get those good items via gold / RM / item trades / farming. Or you can have good items drop frequently, which means no one will trade RM / gold / items for your items because they are so easy to get, and you really have nothing to farm for.
This game is hard, and that's how it is supposed to be. If you want what you think you're entitled to after X amount of hours, go play WoW.
