How about some more HP. Cheapest easiest way to boost your EHP
You barely have any LOH so you won't much notice the difference between getting EHP via life versus getting it via resistance; and you get more EHP bang for your buck in general from budget vitality gear vs AR gear which is never 'budget'
Also I should be clear that you putting this on youtube and posting isn't really all that lame but seeing diablofans front page it is totally retarded. almost as retarded as them giving out 'booster packs'
wow how ingenious you're using a skill that does 1500% damage with some gear you probably RMAH purchased on carebear soft core, that anyone with a DH is also using because it's broken and was broken since the patch hit and admitted by bliz that 1.0.5 will be issued (only?) to address it
Name: gargamel Class: Witch Doctor Status: Alive Level: 60(10) Progression: Just solo cleared alll of Inferno! Finally. http://www.diablopro...rgamel/23672012
Had lost 1 previous lv60 char to spirit walk after unpause during lag (completely desynched), then after the terrible mid-east storms Verizon's network was going in and out and I lost my 2nd lv60 to a complete d/c.
Feels great to finish it. Don't know if I would have had the heart to restart if I died in A4 there..
Make yourself an awesome 6 prop monk helm. The ones I get as drops always sell nicely. Way too poor to be crafting myself, though. BS is still like level 5 anyway haha
No idea what it's worth or if anyone has this yet or whatever. Open to offers
Seriously people, stop making judgements about how doable the whole game is just by playing act1 or even act2 inferno. Acts 3 and 4 are WAY WAY harder. In my opinion with all the changes in patch 1.0.4 your best shot at clearing inferno at the moment is with a full party and ventrilo/skype. Now I'm not saying it's not doable solo, but a good party will definitely make a big difference.
I'm now in A3 inferno (just downed Ghom) totally solo, have solo'd the entire game. I can say for 100% sure that A3 is not hard with good gear. In fact, I had a WAY WAY WAY harder time back in 1.02'ish in Hell A3 than I am having now in 1.0.4 in Inferno A3.
I have been able to handle every single pack/situation/etc from start, through Ghom. Only saw red screen once when fighting a horde pack of 2h skeles with teleport (they had been beating on me a bit, and then all teleported on me and attacked at once). Was still totally fine didn't pop SV or anything (WD) screen just starting to turn red
Vortex+Molten/Firechains/both, or Teleport+Firechains, god these are IMPOSSIBLE once they tire of you ,zoom they vortex you in and it's almost insta death... or Fast Demonic Tremors... (because apparently 1000% innate movement speed increase just because they are elites, isn't fast enough... (I know it's not 1000%, it's just to show how insanly fast they are)), or Fast plus any already fast mobs, like fast zombies, Soul Lashers, those things that burrows underground
When they do that, just pop your defensive CC to escape, and run away until it cools down -- or when you see vortex, make sure you LOS yourself so that when it fires, it pulls you against a wall or something instead of in to the pack, then fight for a few seconds until they can cast it again
In other news, not sure how everyone gets 'caught with xxx on CD'.. you pull the monsters... not the other way around
Edit - as WD the hardest I really encounter are champ/minion packs with horde. I think that's the hardest in the game depending on what gets rolled for the minions
I have never hit a combo that I felt was 'impossible' though, I hear that all the time, makes no sense to me
With swapping only my weapon I already go over 400% with my templar and valor because I worked my arse off to get this gear that capable of farming end game content.
I sold all my high end DPS gear to put together this act 3/4 MF farming set and now your telling me that even with zero paragon level im about to lose MF?!?!?
I dont get how this stops gear swapping, i dont swap gear, i farm act 3 with 350+% MF because I worked my arse of for 500 hours in game and probably another 200 hours on the Auction house selling and trading gear.
So blizzard, damn....i actually wanna cry coz I invested so much of my time into making the perfect MF act 3/4 farming set and you go and ruin it as im already at the cap and gain nothing from your paragon system.
Solution: Remove the cap, let us go to 700% MF if we want to. Why stop your loyal/dedicated and possibly a little hardcore fans from playing the game at the 'level' that they want to?
Stop complaining
Your high value 'DPS Set' is going to drop in value as well since there will be item inflation with the new patch (x4 drop rate, legendaries being better than rares, 61/62 weapons being buffed, 63 weapons (2h etc) having new affixes roll, new legendaries making old ones obsolete..)
The only 'sure thing' in Diablo is probably gold
Also the MF cap is a good thing for reasons bliz has listed. Who the hell wants to stack MF endlessly? I wish they'd cap other things like resist as well
If you kill 40 mobs per min, thats almost 20 000 exp per min. If you play for 8 hours a day, thats more than 1 000 play days until you reach lvl 100. ALMOST 3 YEARS OF PLAYING FOR 8 HOURS A DAY which is eaqual to leveling 475 characters from level 1 to 60. GL to everyone who thinks that the bonus is worth it. Take in mind that in diablo 3 you cant kill that fast monster as in diablo 2 (cow level i mean) with super fast spamming skills and aoe. And Hardcore? Pic or it didnt happend
I grind from 50-60 in act 1 hell at leoric's manner with a WD run inside, locusts+grasp+soul harvest, spirit walk away, kill elite if it's there. 60k XP and I run it non stop averaging 45 seconds per run with things slowing me down. And that's xp rates in HELL not inferno. So you can pretty much divide that playtime by a large margin considering XP rates in inferno are much higher (if they are same as previously published)
Also even if someone isn't power grinding like that, NV gives +15% XP, and anyone playing at this level will have at a minimum a 25% XP boost in helm
And of course it will happen. People got to 99 HC d2. Easier yes but not more time consuming.. months and months and months of grinding
Yes, absolutely, and I would probably be to 20 or 30 by now if it'd have been in there since launch lol
I am halfway through A2 Inferno HC and am way more interested in reaching 100 paragon than finishing the game (will do both). It is a much more long term challenge honestly. 100% excited about this new system
-- Edit; also, way more respect for 100 paragon. Nobody is rich enough to pay leech for that many levels. Whereas people sell the inferno HC achievements so they're meaningless.

Who the hell dies on Azmodan ever? Easiest attacks to avoid, and if you're playing HC you should have way more than enough health to take a hit
To the guy who said his SC takes 20% damage from one and his HC takes 99% damage from one.. you're doing it wrong lol

Calculate your EHP using a calculator. EHP is what matters, period.
