My god, I typed in "how are these people duping items in Diablo3?" To my surprise there are websites selling programs for duping!!! This is scary because one program states its absolutely undetectable no matter what blizzard does, including any new patch that they come out with. They state that people have made 10s of thousands of dollars with it. This is scary for the future of Diablo3 and anybody looking to make easy money because in Diablo3 duping is now a Felony.
True or not, people will always find a way to corrupt the system.

Last night mp6, 3 key wardens in a row no key. Tonight mp5 4 key wardens in a row no key, so yes I'm aggravated as I write this. These are successively 6.4% and 6.25% odds of happening. We all have "that guy" as a friend who has gotten 10-20 100m+ set pieces who have lower MF and are lower paragon than you, while you've never gotten anything worth 50m. I have one HC WD friend who got 3 pieces of his Zunimassa's set in in a matter of a few days around paragon 20. We're talking a WD getting 3 of 5 of the set specifically designed for his class. The odds against that are astronomically bad -- as in so bad that the only way it could have happened was other than random. I'll also add that the same WD just today got 3 set pieces on HC for other classes worth >100m each. He also farms mp0 and has managed to get keys at a rate far higher than 5%.
So, how is loot distributed? Who knows, but Blizzard's insistence that it is RNG is laughable. Fanboys who post RNG is RNG when anybody says anything different remind me of lemmings that jump off the cliff behind the million that just committed suicide. Who knows maybe their blind loyalty earns them +1% MF every time they lick Blizzard's boots and I get another -1% (which would explain why my loot drops are so atrocious). There is some variable somewhere that makes some accounts more prone to good loot then others. Either Bliz doesn't know which makes them incompetent, or they know and aren't telling which makes them liars. Blizzard has lost all credibility by letting their lead designer make his favorite class twice as good as any other, so them telling us that it is RNG carries no weight in my mind.
BTW, anybody want one of my 6 hellracks or ivory towers? I've no shortage of those items..
EDIT: btw, Barb friend of mine just had 2 Ivory Towers drop within 15 yards of each other. They are IDENTICAL. RNG huh? BS! Quit lying bliz and start explaining

But of course they got other set pieces showing that, obviously, you can still get items that are for other classes.
Meh....It's a different flavor for topping off an Act 1 run. Something different to do I guess. The way I look at it, I'll likely be playing this game for many years and "buying it" is a one time thing that will likely get countless uses out of. For core fans and purists alike, we want to touch every corner of Sanctuary. So having access to Whimsyshire is considered by me as crucial to having the whole experience of the game.
That being said, I'd like to add a little editorial concerning Whimsy....
I think it was entirely arrogant, misguided and wholly disconnected for the developers to replace our beloved cows with fucking teddy bears and unicorns. I get it, I get the attempt at humor here and I have an appreciation for such things. However I think it was extremely poor taste for them to not only shit-can the Cows, but then to seemingly thumb their noses at core-fans by calling it the Staff of Herding, Having the Cow King grant access to WS and the message as you load your game saying "There is no cow level".
Must've been the same misguided fucks that reviewed the Legendary items and gave them a thumbs up at launch.

I've got some keys but I'm afraid to do ubers. Definitely plan to MP0 them first which is a 5% organ drop rate which means I'm months away from a ring lol
You can easily solo up to hell. In hell difficulty it can be a bit risky depending on your gear but its still not that hard. There is definitely a item check if you want to progress in inferno solo. I would start to group with some friends in Act 1 Inferno and do farm runs.
In the end its just all about the gear. I farmed aloooooooooooooooooot in act 1 with my monk and was afraid about act2 and baal but some day i just went for it and did the complete act2 including belial in one night solo and also soloed act 3 up to Ghom.
I would say that it is risky in act 3 and act 4 to solo because in these acts you get a lot damage very quick (with good gear) and so it is way easier if the damage dealt is splitted up on more group players. Also its more likely to get blocked or surrounded when you play solo.
Oh yeah and to OP - you're crazy, of course leave it in. If you have these problems you may not be ready for HC. Losing a couple of characters will probably get you on the right path honestly.. (yes even to lag etc)

MP is definitely not something to mess with lightly. I'm geared up pretty well and I'm OK on A1 inferno MP1 but it's not easy. Interesting I find that MP1 A1 and A2 are about the same. Probably because the big jump is having the monsters all be lvl63.
However IMO I think A1 Inferno MP1 is very doable and I found it to be probably faster and easier than A3 is right now for me. I don't run A3..
The real question is -- is it now easier to run A3 '1.0.5 nerf'd' or is it easier to run MP1 A1?
I haven't had a ton of time for PTR so I really don't know. I did enough playing to get a feel for things. Didn't do Butcher though - need to try that
It sure is nice having PTR where death is not permanent haha

was stacking 5 nv, went outside leoric manor with bit lag on spawning outside found myself almost dead in middle of elites cultists right at me, did smoke screen and vaulted away but after ss went down i got instagibbed for rest of hp because of reflect damage. byebye 2500 dex 69k dps dh plvl almost 9....too shocked to rage, good i guess... ^^
